Not carried, but his first 4 seasons the defense was top 7 each year in least amount of points allowed. Alex can get you to the playoffs with a good team surrounding him, but he needs an elite defense to win a championship. He's not elite, just an above average QB.

They either try to win this game with Chase Daniel or they lose this game preserving (what is left of) (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky's confidence. That's the decision they have to make. (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky can't make up this deficit. He just can't.

I don't know what the answer is. It's way too early to give up on a QB but first place is right there for the taking. A conundrum.
