It felt like he was an over-sized Safety playing Linebacker.

I cannot be objective about Urlacher. He'll always be the best to me.

I thought the offensive line played pretty well again. Kush is starting to falter though, kinda saw that coming.

I would assume so. Singlehandedly carrying a team would get tiring at some point.

I love Urlacher but I can't recall a Bear consistently playing at this level every week.

Bullshit. You are really totally downgrading what a terrific HOF player that Urlacher is. He is a HOF first ballot player and are assessing someone else that YOU PROJECT to be better than he is. It is stupid analysis.

Its not a stretch to say Mack will finish with an Urlacher-esque career but I just think its a silly conversation to have at this point.

He's one of the best players in NFL history. 312player is just wrong on this.

Mack's ceiling as a career is what Urlacher already did. This isn't even a conversation among the sane.

Yeah, that over-size safety was a first ballot HOFer. Maybe the best athlete ever to play middle lb in the NFL.

This is pretty much because the ceiling for a defensive career is roughly the career of Brian Urlacher. Not many can claim to have had a better career than #54.

The way the Emery/Trestman treated Urlacher was disgraceful.

Well clearly we can't rule out he has, since we can't prove he doesn't have a body count

That clipping penalty wasn't his fault.

you mean the high/low? I agree, but he wasn't getting a lot of movement. Still good in pass protection though.

He's solid. He opened a big hole for Howard late in the game too.

One of the most important units in football is the established continuity of a dependable & solid offensive line. Everything begins right there. Continuity is paramount. They are a team within a team.

MANY examples can be cited but one of the best was the Patriots. Brady had all day to do anything he wanted to do in the pocket and elsewhere.

Why some teams that don't put this as a top priority is beyond me.

He gets one more week and then you work Daniels into the starting role during the Bye

Not a penalty.

Actually, I don't remember. Maybe it was.
