Champ Bailey and Bob Sanders over Ray Lewis?

Terrible

I somewhat agree but when Bob Sanders was healthy he was a super upgraded version of Mike Brown. Destroyed offenses by himself. One of the big tragedies injury wise in recent league history.

Mike Brown was better

Not in any universe.

I love Mike Brown and the two had eerily similar careers, but Sanders is just betters. Its like the Cadillac CTS vs the Cadillac CTS-V. Sanders is the higher trim package.

Deion Sanders should be on everyone's list.

Aren't we about the same age? Did you start watching football at 16?

Not sure how you can put a guy that refused to tackle on any all time defensive list.

Yes, close in age. I didnt put anyone who I watched as a real young kid. I didnt really start following football beyond BEARS, until like 92ish

There was no need for him to waste time tackling a running back. He completely eliminated a side of the field despite being a part time football player.

Yes, he could take 1 receiver out of the game, but he didn't eliminate a side of the field.

They didn't throw the football near him. He completely changed every defense he was on.

Shoutout for the great, yes, GREAT, Wally Chambers. Career cut short because his knees got taken out too many times.

Easily the best Bear defender of the 70s.

Hard for me to fathom that you are old enough to have seen Too Tall, but yet you have no LT on your list.

A pretty good case could be made that he is the best football player to ever step on a field.

Also, Too Tall was just a special guest referee at Wrestlemania whereas LT main evented one

He was pretty great but just for too short of a time. Tommie Harris looked like that for a moment too.

 I do concede that LT should be in there somewhere. But I'm a lifelong Cowboys fan and Giants hater.
