It appears to have a very limited menu, but it is known for the chicken fingers.

And you're known primarily for having a finger up your butt.

Thanks for that. Verdict is worth a visit if you sneak in some Chick-fil-A sauce.

Of course you love the sauce made with priest semen.

To celebrate my diet finally opening up after wisdom teeth removal, I might be driving to Norridge after work to pick this up and try it for the first time.

Was on Harlem yesterday so I stopped. Restaurant was slow so my food came pretty fast. Fries were cold. Toast was deformed/half-smashed. Cole slaw was good.

Then an elk ran into the Art Van furniture store...

Anyone remember when Maywood Park had a furniture store inside the grandstand?

I thought they were wildly overrated. Good, but overrated.

I thought it was very good, and I'm not quite sure how they're viewed nationally. It met my expectations, which were fairly high. At some point, they are just chicken fingers. But the breading was excellent, and they were juicy. The texas toast and coleslaw were solid. The fries were average at best, but they weren't the focus. Place was packed for 5:45pm. I think it might be near a high school. The crowd seemed to be 'leaving practice / detention' types.

The Mecca location on Higgins is set to open November 5, 2019. I'll see you there!

That must be a terrible location if you compared it to Hardee's chicken fingers.

Having given the place some more chances, at least in Ohio they’re pretty good. The quality of the chicken is good, with no fillers. Don’t get ‘em to go, though- they use styrofoam containers that turn the breading to mush. Bread is consistently good; cole slaw is still bland as hell.

This is correct . Didn’t what the fuss was over the dipping sauce either . Was decidedly meh.

One of these is supposed to open in DeKalb later this year. They are knocking down the old Applebee’s to build it. So I've got that going for me.

I’ve had it a few times now , I have to say overall I’m a fan
I do wish they had more variety in dipping sauces and better sides, but the chicken is what matters I suppose and everytime I’ve gotten it it’s been prepared perfectly

I visited the Mecca back in December. Thought it was awful. Tasted like the oil was burnt. I’ll give it another shot at some point. I ate maybe half my meal. Couldn’t take the flavor anymore.

Bingo bango bongo. Sauce is fantastic. Toast is good. Chicken strip are okay. Lemonade is excellent. Overall, it's a cheap and quick lunch but you're not going to be blown away.
