Was watching Channel 26 tonight at midnight. They did a station promo (which feature various dogs from the region) - lo and behold, featuring Licorice from Park Ridge sitting on the chair, watching TV.

I assume it is the one and only Licorice.

I'm taking Lic in the death pool. When that mut does die I'll bet North will dedicate his entire show to that damn dog. He'll have guest on that will pay tribute to him. He'll discuss the first time Lic took a shit. I'll toon in for that show.

I've always found it strange that a good portion of the SCORE on air talent have no children. Guys like North, Fred, Murph, JHood are all in a business based partially on passing traditions and games from father to son. I don't think it's wrong or bad, just sort of odd.

Even stranger is people who anthropmorphise their pets to treat them as children.

Scratch him off my list and he is not at the SCORE either.

But when you think about it, isn't it probably a good thing that Murph, Fred, and North aren't procreating?

Scarier still is that I believe Boers has the most offspring by a count of 4, plus a couple of grandkids. EEE EEE EEE.

I was feeling generous. I'm in the minority, in that I really liked his 8-12 show. He had good topics, and he would engage callers for more than 10 seconds. He seemed to prep and acted like he genuinely liked being there. I don't recognize Hood circa 2006. He's become bitter, jaded, jealous, condescending, mean-spirited, and just comes off as a tool. I know he's frustrated that he's not where he thinks he should be career wise, but that's own damn fault. If he had been a little more professional and played nice with others, he might still be at the Score, and probably would've landed the Sox gig. I know that's not the Holy Grail, but he would probably be more satisfied than he is now.
