Last year he was raw. Anyone watching could see the talent.

The offense this year is far more complex. That seems to be his biggest struggle. He looks like he's struggling to know where everyone is. Looks confused and timid out there.

As an NFL starter,I don't need to see the 5 and 10 yard dump passes. You had better be able to toss the ball down field with authority. I have yet to notice that on a consistent basis. He also misses some short ones which make him look like a CFL reject.

The John Shoop offense was notorious for a 6 yd pass when 7 yds were needed. That is what I consistently keep seeing this year, hence my Shoop comparison.

I don't recall the Crowton offense being this bland.

Crowton had a good offense, it just was solveable at the NFL level.

Shoop had a terrible, incredibly predictable unimaginative offense.

C'mon. Shoop wasn't all that good, but his quarterbacks were Jim Miller, Shane Matthews, Henry Burris, two games of rookie Rex Grossman, and well past their primes Chris Chandler, and Kordell Stewart. His WRs were also not prolific.
