I should have known it was coming. The dial was turned before he could get out the first sentence.

He also was insisting this morning that Bill Clinton was not impeached because he was found not guilty. No matter how much the others tried to explain to him that impeachment simply means bringing the official to trial on the charges, guilty or not, he insisted he was right. Mikey, you're an ignorant idiot. Bill Clinton was impeached.

I tuned in to hear the impeachment discussion. I learned the defenition of impeachment in 8th grade social studies and was laughing out loud when Mike couldn't grasp the concept that Clinton was indeed impeached. Annie gave up trying to explain it to the moron after a while.

Rock please sit down with Pappy with flash cards and try to explain this one to him.

Also listened in the 6:30 AM range this morning to Annie saying that only the rich got tax cuts, and nobody else benefitted.

It's really pretty simple Annie - the more taxes you put in, the more you get back.

If you don't pay taxes, you shouldn't get a dime.

This is not income redistribution.

His State of the show speech was more full of shit than Bush's. The show is doing "fabulous". Um..OK. We're in the top 5 in "significant categories". Hey Mike, way to skew those "flawed" ratings. And that impeachment bit was priceless. He sounded like a complete mental retard. Congratulations BeBe, you hit the lotto by marrying a guy with the mentality of Benny from L.A Law.

In the absence of genuine altruism manifested by issuing an interest free short-term loan to the government, putting oneself in a "Big Refund" position is THE DUMBEST thing one would ever commit. It is a fruit of horrible planning.

Assuming a relatively healthy and happy life over the course of the year, anything over $250 in combined federal and state refund is "big" for a person or a family on salaried employment, and some side money from bank interest on savings and occasional market activity and moonlighting.

Slow sports day. The show falls flat on its face when they try to do any type of political, entertainment, or lifestyle talk. The whole right vs. left crap is becoming so tiresome that even the politicians seem to grasp the fact that we are all sick of hardcore political partisanship. The biggest story was how hard both sides seem to be sprinting toward the middle before the midterm elections. Whenever pappy and annie try to do their dumbass Mclaughlin group segments I push the button. Listening to an old rich white guy and a limosine liberal "debate" is not good radio. Mikey needs to stick to the old sportsaroo.

Very well said. With this being a dead period for sports, this show is going to hit a new low. Jen Jen at the Olympics? Please!

We have an INCOME TAX not a wealth tax. There is a difference. The tax code has become needlessly complex so the politicians can give breaks to certain special interests groups. The abilty to tax is where the politicos power comes from. Do you think they will give that power up without a helluva fight? They can pander to any number of groups just through the tax code. Are you naive enough to think the tax attorneys and accountants have nothing to do with the tax code? The more complex it is the more money they make. Subsequently the more donations they can give to the lowlife politicos. Nice rackett huh. If we were able to do our taxes on a postcard they wouldn't have a job would they.
