I just remember Brown being so strong in the run game, and they have tried to replace his presence ever since in the secondary. Hester was exciting/game changing, so I'll give you that.

I went back and watched some of the Cardinals game, what held them back way more than Mitch was just being 1-2 yards short all the time. To be fair the most egregious case of this was Mitch himself running out of bounds 2 yards short of the first down marker, but Howard and Cohen both failed to finish plays at the goalline or 1st down line a couple times.

Still overall I have seen Bears defenses that are not as good as this current group carry offenses way worse than this group to decent success. Bears actually do a few things pretty well on offense. They are second in the NFL in time of possession and dead-average in 3rd down efficiency. This is with (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky contributing basically nothing past 15 yards. So whatever, if this is their formula for success I dont mind at all.

Worry about your own Willis Reed wannabee as he gimps around the field looking for a friend.
