I just looked at their depth chart and actives tonight to confirm and yes, this is definitely worse. No Doyle or Marlon Mack even! At least (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky had the Cohen/Howard tandem.

Can someone explain what happened near the end of the first half? New England scored a TD to make it 21-3. They then kicked off into the end zone for a touchback. There was a penalty for illegal formation against Indy and Belichick elected to enforce and re-kick from the 40. I figured they must be planning a pooch kick to pin them in, but the kicker launched it through the end zone for another touchback. There was zero to be gained from accepting that penalty. And to make it worse, the refs called NE for an illegal formation of their own and tacked that on to Indy’s field position. WTF?
