other than the OL and QB the Colts are so bereft of any talent that I can gather no meaning from this terrible game.

Mack, Hilton, and Doyle were out as well as Leonard, their top 3 CBs, a starting OT and someone else. This was a ridiculously depleted Colts team.

Wonder if NE has any interest in recently released Rishard Matthews

2 more games in Brady’s career. Glad he got to 500 TD’s before Mack breaks him.

There were more 400-yard, three-plus touchdown, zero-interception passing performances last week as there were last season, and in the entire 1990s.

That's insane

I think the Jaguars are going to pretty much stop KC's offense and put things back in perspective football wise.

Jags @ Chiefs is getting a ton of the attention but really its not a huge game in terms of meaning. The Jags are probably winning the AFC South (despite some fight from the Titans) and the Chiefs are running away with the AFC West. This game probably has more seeding implications than anything.

Minnesota, Pittsburgh and Atlanta are really fighting for their playoff lives. Lions, Broncos, and low-key the Seahawks really need wins this week too. Great slate of action though, glad I get to enjoy it all with Bears on the bye.

Too bad the SNF game is garbage.

It's more a test for Mahomes. It would be nice if the Bears went into week 6 with a bigger division lead.

I'm taking Seahawks over the Rams in Seattle straight up to win the game. Tough place to play and Seattle still has the better QB.

Also Ravens -3.0 at Browns is free money. The Ravens are really good and the Browns suck.

The Seahawks are decidedly "middle-third" of the NFL. There are 10 teams you can name that are no question better than them and 10 teams you can name that no question worse than them.

I think they are bad everywhere except QB. 6-10 team at the end of the year.

They are 2-2 right now with two games to go against the aboslutely hopeless 49ers and a home game against Arizona left. You are saying they win no more than one of these games:
@OAK
@DET
SD
MIN

and Kansas City week 16 may have nothing to play for.

I see 7-9 at worst and 10-6 not out of the picture. Elite QB, very good coach and one of the 5 best home-fields in the NFL is enough to be .500 most years. The fact that the back half of their division may be the two worst teams in the NFL pushes them over the top.

They would've lost last week to AZ if Fitzgerald didn't have an uncharacteristicly terrible game. Any team in the league can beat Seattle and it shouldn't surprise anyone. No way I'm giving them three gimme wins.

Fitzgerald is probably finished sad to say.

I will say that despite being objectively terrible at almost every position Arizona does have some fight in them and punch above their weight sometimes. Unfortunately for them that only elevates them from worst team in the NFL to occasionally 3rd of 4th worst team in the NFL

He could be but he wasn't last year so it's unlikely.

David Johnson is All Pro caliber and Peterson/Jones are close to that level on the other side. Their coach might also be a moron. Benching DJ on the biggest play of the game against the Bears is one of the bigger coaching fuck ups this year.

I cant tell if Johnson has lost a step or if the coaches are just refusing to use him for some other unknown reason. Peterson is still a hell of a player though. Jones is honestly mediocre now but Benwikere is still a solid NFL role player and I do like the draft picks they made this year even if Cole got his shit pushed in against the Bears and Rosen is going to really struggle at times this year.

The rest of them are pretty terrible. The Nkemdiche pick is officially a flop, Bethea is finished, the OL is really bad and/or inexperienced (Pugh was a waste of money) and they may be up there for worst front-7's in the NFL.

But like I said they play hard and dont shy away from contact so occasionally they have little bursts where they look like a mediocre/bad NFL team as opposed to the worst NFL team. They wont go 0-16 but I would be astonished if they won their remaining game against Seattle, especially when its @Seattle.

Not sure where you are getting Jones being mediocre from. Just not true.

Johnson is still great. A wrist injury is nothing to a RB. Good for Bruce Arians for publicly calling Wilkes shitty gameplans out.

Idk he had a nice sack against Ifedi but Ifedi is terrible. I dont remember him doing anything against the Bears at all, totally got taken out of the game.

Quote:
Former Raiders punter Marquette King lasts just four games in Denver; heads to IR with plans to release

It didn’t take long for Marquette King to wear out his welcome in Denver. The attention seeking punter was cut by the Raiders this offseason and quickly signed on with the rival Broncos. It took four years for the Raiders to tire of his act. It took six months in Denver. Now four games into the 2018 season, he is headed to injured reserve with a thigh injury and the team plans to release him once he’s healthy, according to multiple reports.

Since the moment King was released, he began playing the parted of scorned lover, taking pot shots at the Raiders every chance he got. In his introductory conference call with Denver media, he said there was a revenge factor to signing with the Broncos, adding that they let him be himself. So much for that, eh?

A couple months later, he videoed himself ‘walking by’ a vacant Raiders headquarters (they were on offseason break) in Alameda doing the Broncos dance he had done in a game against the Broncos.

By training camp, Marquette was already disgruntled and clearly didn’t want to be in Denver anymore. He had a weird, tense interview for a radio station that was tossing softball questions at him, then tweeted vulgar things directed at a host for another show on that same station and a couple days later went after him, telling him to “keep my name out your mouth” and had to be physically restrained.

The Broncos will take on $1.5 million of King’s $2 million salary in dead money.

As fate would have it, King will be replaced by Colby Wadman, who was with the Raiders when they released King last March and for about a month was the only punter on the Raiders roster. That was until they drafted Johnny Townsend in the sixth round. Townsend hasn’t been all that good either. But at least he’s not a pain in the ass.

Punters, man.
