I use to be one of those 'hate new york' people when I lived in chicago. but after I left, it turns out to be pretty silly. like some inferiority complex. like if you ask New Yorkers, they don't even know this exists for Chicagoan's. They don't really care.

When I lived in Northern California they have the same inferiority complex to Southern California. But in So Cal, nobody cares and doesn't even know it's a thing.

Not sure why this still exists. I know Les Grobber still uses it as his act in his show but Les needs a new act.

I really like Judge, Stanton, Scanhez, and the Yankee's pitching staff. Lot of stars on the team and most of them seem like pretty good guys, especially Judge. I even like Boone over the 'im so important' Girardi they had last year. Very likable team.

Dogs are 1-1 in series so far. Rockies were underdogs in the WC round.

All 4 of the Astros-Tribe/Brewers-Rockies games have been mostly highly watchable baseball. Sure, the home-team/favorite has won all 4, but they've been decided in the later innings or extras.

Haven't really watched Dodgers-Braves. Maybe if the Braves could be arsed to plate a run this post-season it'd be worth watching.

Recency bias. Verlander/Cole book-ended with Osuna in the 9th is going to be a mad-tough out for whichever team survives the Yanks-Red Sox series. And 1-9 in the Astros lineup puts any mistake pitch 20 rows deep. They've all bought into the increase "launch-angle" to increase fly-balls to hit more home runs gospel--or they don't get to be in the lineup anymore.

I wouldn't call him a fraud, he's been very consistent. 0-10 in the post season. The yanks have killed him this year, I wouldn't have started him. 217 million for that horse shit. Smh
