Howard needs to be the closer to grind out yards, 1st downs and clock. The Bears should not be looking for draft picks when they are all in this year.

Before they got Mack i had them at 7-9, I still think they could be a 9-7 team and don't see them getting 10 wins unless they play teams who happen to have major injuries at key positions.

Eagles are calling everyone who has a premiere running back who has the slightest hint of descension. My guess is they are just softening Pittsburgh up for leveon

I would trade him for a #1 and nothing less. They may be battling the eagles for a playoff spot. Eagles have two second rounders. I’d settle for both of those

As I said in the off season Howard doesn’t fit this offense. For those who think the bears have nothing behind tarek, Cunningham is a very competent back who has performed well in the past when called upon as a fill in starter

Andy Reid offenses don’t pound it at the end of games and the bears have followed suit this year. It is a flaw in the offense that we saw manifested at the end of the packer game. Ryan nall can come off the practice squad to cover that role when necessary

Yeah, this is what I am on board with. You don't want to run a guy week after week 20 times a game because that adds up, but if you can get away with a lighter workload now, he should be stronger later in the year. He just has to get past his ego and realize that he is still very important to the team even though he isn't being totally utilized right now.

With the Eagles record trending to what it is, I would trade for a first round pick, but that's about it.
