Hossa was rolling over in his grave when Saad got his pocket picked at the end.

I never would have guessed Saad would have played like this after they acquired him from Columbus. Can we still trade him for Faulk? I was against that but might reconsider.

I really was glad when Saad was back but yeah, he hasn't been good at all. At least Debrincat is really good.

No excuse not to get 2 points last night.

I was a huge Saad fan and still hope I can be one again, but this is a problem. This isn't just failing to live up to the unreasonable expectations of "the new Marian Hossa," because no one can simply replace the guy who was one of the best of all time at what he did. He just doesn't seem to try very hard at all now that he has a long-term deal.

I was thinking the exact same thing on the way home last night while I was able to listen (I haven't been able to watch any games so far this season) and thinking to myself "geez, I haven't heard Saad's name at all the few times I've tuned in".

A scout was quoted on the Athletic a week or so back that he thought Saad was just playing for his last contract. He was fine in his couple years in Columbus. He didn't get PP time but his even strength scoring was strong.

Keith's 1,000 game, hopefully Ward can find his early 2000's form.

Couldn't make this a 7pm start so they'd start at 7:30...I'm not ancient, but this 8pm puck drop sucks.

Keith posing with his son and girlfriend while his kid's mom is off on the other end of the stage.

You've got to respect Keith for rocking that early 90's penis/loaf of bread haircut.

Really should be 3-0.

So far so good tho. Hawks have had a ton of shots so far.

Allen might be even more wretched than Ward.

He's looking awfully good after that flurry at the beginning of the 2nd.

Hawks have dominated this game and are going to end up losing it

Hey,

I'm going to the Ranger game on 10/25; anyone else going to be there?

DeBrincat wide open between the circles, made 'em pay, gotta love it.

The line on Fortin was that he was nothing but speed but I like what I've seen of him so far.

No, didn't you hear? The team whose #1 center got shitfaced and drove a truck through the front of a Tim Hortons is a likable bunch!

I mean the fact that it was a Tim Hortons makes it fucking hilarious.
