Nagy is not exempt from critiquing, especially yesterday.

But let me ask these questions. How many red zone turnovers did Nagy commit? Did Nagy push a game winning field goal-- that had plenty of distance-- off to the right? How many of the 541 yards of Miami's offense did Nagy give up? Did Nagy over throw a wide open Anthony Miller for a 40+ yard gain on 3rd down early in the game?

I'm not trying to absolve the coach of anything from yesterday, but the bottom line is that the players made way too many mistakes to win a close game on the road.

His offense works. Calm the fuck down.

It's his 6th game as a head coach.

The guy obviously doesn't have it all figured out yet and he's still learning.

If his mistakes continue into next year then push the PANIC button.

Nagy's offense got 28 points on the road, vs a pretty good defense. In the 1st year of its installation, none the less. Let's take a look at the veteran defensive coordinator on the Bears that seems to be a "one trick pony".

If you move Mack around more, get creative with blitzes/stunts, it will be harder to double team him. Fangio literally had Mack lined up in the same spot the entire game. Many factors, maybe his ankle injury, the heat, but he(Mack), his body language looked frustrated, like yup, I have no shot here with a double team and quick pass.

Yep! They appear to be improving every game.

They did a lot of things right in that game but it was physical mistakes that lost it for them. The two fumbles by the running backs were stakes in the heart, for example. I think the missed field goal was due to a bad snap and ball placement by the holder.

Then they also got screwed by the officials in that game. It cost them at least a touchdown and a field goal. That pick play call was bullshit. I watched the Steeler game yesterday also and ab obvious pick play wasn't called on the Steelers and the commentator said that is never called unless there is big contact on the play.

One thing that has been really odd, is the disinvolvement of Trey Burton, yeah he has a couple shovel pass TD's but hasn't been the safety blanket, big catch guy over the middle we thought. I don't know if teams are scheming him out, or Mitch isn't looking. Hopefully Shaneen is on track to come back and that is another weapon for Mitch.

In fairness the bears were driving nicely on their first drive when they got set back by a really, really stupid delay of game penalty that effectively stopped them in their tracks.

I definitely rate Nagy higher as a coach than Mitch as a quarterback so far.

Nagy is a great OC that is failing to be better than a mediocre head coach.

Mitch isn't a rocket scientist, which is good. You don't want a QB who's all brains and no balls. Anyone of Eastern European descent who isn't (((overly-educated))) will fit the bill.

Well Nagy will be gone before his scheme becomes outdated.

People keep telling me to look at Nagy's "continued growth" but I don't see it at all. I see a pussy bitch who lost a game week one and seems to think that because he beat up the Bucs and Cardinals suddenly doesn't need to remember lessons from a devastating week one loss. He's not growing at all. Just another shitty NFL coach who thinks he's got it all figured out and doesn't need to change his style at all.

The book is out. Double/triple team Khalil Mack every down and don't even think about long dropbacks or running with any consistency to his side of the field. Without those energizing big plays from him the Bears aren't too hard to drive on and as long as the game is close most NFL coaches know they can exploit Nagy's terrible gameday coaching. Not hard. When Mike McCarthy bitchslaps you it's not good.

Hicks was double teamed in the Miami game significantly more than Mack was. Mack just had a pretty bad game.

The defensive issues are more on Fangio than Nagy. Fangio had a horrific game in Miami. The Dolphins (Gase)knew exactly where every defender was going to be and that is why they blocked it to perfection.
