You're not watching the games of every quarterback you're ranking. You have to look at the numbers too.

He's been below average 3 out of 5 games this year. Obviously 1 ridiculously good game has skewed his overall stats. As America noted - we'll know a lot more after next Sunday.

You can do that with all quarterbacks. Reality is even with a mediocre first half his stats in the past 2 games has been better than every quarterback in the league and his 5 games worth of work has his in the top 5 or 10 in nearly every statistical category. At worst he should be ranked 15th because of his play in Arizona and against Seattle.

You are the one referencing only his last 2 games and ignoring the other 3...& there's a huge difference between top 10 and number 15.

The first half of Green Bay was good too. Objectively, there is no way to say the arrow isn't pointing up. If you can't eliminate a bad game then you can't eliminate a great one. The stats after 5 games are not only impressive, they're better than MANY quarterbacks that have played 6 games. By the numbers he's been a top 10 passer this year. If you want to give some QBs a lifetime achievement award then maybe you can bump him down to 15.

He's around 15 for me, which is a safe place for him to stay after he gets owned by Belichick.

I give him a break for @ARI because that game was a real Nagy special where the team showed up like it was some practice and only survived with a win because the Cardinals are so dreadful. If Mitch was prepared for that game he would have done fine.

It won't be too much longer before I expect Mitch to just starting ignoring his idiot coaches dumbass playcalls and stubborn refusal to gameplan, but not yet. He is chained to Nagy through better or worse for the time being.

Middle of the pack, 13-16 sounds about right for (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky about now. He isn't in the top ten, but he isn't near the bottom third (#18) of QB's either.

18th isn't the bottom third.

Frank's my guy. 16th sounds about right but 18th is insultingly low.

Objectively 13-16 sounds much better than 18th. There is nothing statistically that puts MANY of the other guys listed ahead of (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky.

At the rate Cousins is climbing FF's rankings, he will be ranked correctly in about 5 more weeks.

Just be happy he's ahead of Baker for now. I don't expect it to last.

Notice how Luck watches that go down right in front for him and thinks "ruh roh" before floating a gorgeous outlet pass to some literallywho WR you have almost assuredly never heard of.

Wanna guess who my new #5 is?

I can't put someone on pace to play 16 games and go 3-13 in my top 5. Can't do it.

Seattle is a good team this year, something I called many weeks ago. Great QB, good coach...they are doing their own thing with the run game and it works for them.

The Bears should very happy they won week 2 because that may loom huge when the wild card race really gets heated up.

I can see them going 3-7 after the bye

Hard to say otherwise. Even at 75%, he is still better than 90% of the QBs out there.

He's better than Derek Carr right now but I know Derek Carr can still be an OBJECTIVELY GOOD quarterback, I know that level still exists in him, so I defer to Carr a little bit.

I think Rivers is 4th. Outside of the Wilson love I don't really have any issues with it.

America and I don't agree on much but there's a reason our top 4 has been the same(in slightly different orders) since thread creation, even with others on the list fluctuating pretty heavily. Wilson's gotta be top 4.
