Mac is too old for this shit. Plus it was between Park and Larry. So he let them go. Which was the right move. Don't stop it for the love of God. Mac knew it was good radio and he also knew Larry was sounding like an idiot. And Parkins was handling it well so he didn't need to jump in.

Delusional Laurence thinks he's Omar Little, but he's more like Ziggy Sobotka.

Seemed like a combo of both. He definitely was trying to deescalate it for a little bit.

Don't know what to make of it so far. Maybe Laurence was just talking about fan interactions, but he never said "listeners" so the vagueness of his language definitely made it possible that he was taking a shot at someone he knows in media, perhaps someone with whom he jas had debate about (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky before, like Danny Parkins. Hard to fault Parkins for thinking it was a shot at him, so Larry spiking the ball on him now seems a tad much.

I didn't listen to the Larry video. Don't want to. Doesn't matter. This conversation should have never escalated. Larry is a weirdo. Guess what? Now Larry thinks Parkins is racist. Because of this stupid sports conversation. That's all it takes for Larry to get there.

What is this video? Link?

But that was a real conversation. We all have them. Larry is used to having his dumb producers stamp every thing he says. Joe O knew Larry was an idiot but he never wanted to engage. He just didn't want to deal with it. Joe O is the type of guy that just wants to get through his shift and go home to gamble on sports. And Herb is an idiot that won't engage.

Larry's shocked when he's challenged on air because he has never experienced it. He's always given that vibe to his co workers that he won't have it so they don't do it. They're scared that he'll think they're racist. He loves that they know that. He's one of those guys that simply blocks people on twitter that challenge, criticize or disagree with him. So after he blocks all of those people all his reads are "YOU"RE THE BEST". It's great when you can control your world like that.

Like I said, Bernstein is the only guy at the station where Larry backs down and says "Yeah, you're right".

Hard to fault Parkins for thinking it was a shot at him, so Larry spiking the ball on him now seems a tad much.

Parkins opened the 4th hour saying, and I'm paraphrasing, "people have asked me if Laurence was taking a shot at me, and I don't know...."
A phonecall would have been appropriate, IMO, as Holmes said.

Parkins went on to blast the "(Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky is a HOFer" comment, which WAS appropriate. So I see both sides.

Now the "This is how you roll, Parkins", I don't know what to make of that. Does Parkins have a history of manipulation and/or back stabbing?

I'm starting to think that The Score will soon be moving to studios without hallways or elevators.

People hate people.

People are the worst. That's why you need to avoid them. Some comedian once said "If it weren't for people, I would get along with everybody."

And they'll try to fake it for a while, but after the next fight, there will be no tranny with Larry in the afternoons. Larry simply can't handle this. He's just too god damn bitter.

Larry was just plain wrong and has an issue resenting Parkins. Not only Parkins but clearly he has a problem with him.

Parkins, "I have no idea what the hell just happened have a great show".

Leery’s original point was fine about Trubinski. It devolved from there . Parkins doesn’t need to clear what the fuck he wants to talk about that on his show with Leery. How many fucking times do other hosts play stuff from other shows or discuss what was said earlier ? I don’t think they’re calling those hosts clearing it with them that’s its ok. To echo others , Leery obviously has a youge problem with Parkins and it clearly has to do with race and what Parkins represents . As usual , Leery looks like a sensitive clown .

Then there’s these 2 fucking idiots

You can make a career in media as a black or woman and having thin skin. It's a great career move.

There goes Herb. Rushing to his boss's defense. Herb, it's pretty obvious what this was about. Everybody knows it's about resentment and jealousy. But your job is to defend Larry. So that's what you have to do.

For what it's worth, when they were discussing the pie-in-the-sky notion that Theo announces signing bith Machado and Harper this winter, how they would all be sp happy. Tannehill chimed in that if Theo announced they planned another 40 day games for the season, he would be the happiest guy in the world, and Mac quickly chimed in with "I would fight you for that title".

Last week on Can't Do It, Parkins said "Can't Do It" when it came to naming people at the station who can't take a joke. One of those people has to be Laurence.

I believe he did slip in a "hallway" reference, which made me think it was Sir.

I have a feeling Mulligan would be in that group as well.

There are probably three who can't take even a good natured joke.

1. Leery: "I will stab you in an elevator!"
2. Julie: "I'd like to speak to your manager!"
3. Mulligan: "Duh, um, uh...."

Sure you can. This was old school Score. It was great.

Yep.

I remember the sound bite of Dan Mc Neil sternly telling some caller "This ain't the midday show"

Of course you can. This is the most this show has been talked about, here at least, in quite a while. Three pages and going...

Maybe it was staged?! (ratings)
