As I see it, the biggest weakness thus far in Nagy is his confusion in developing a running game. Something that was pretty much their only strength last year is now their weakness. I don't think he has figured out what he wants to have as an offensive strategy. Somehow this doesn't seem too hard for me when you have good talent at running back like they do.

It still seems like the lack of an offensive game plan to include both running backs forces (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky into way too many 3rd and long plays.

BB is finding great success in just lining up in the I formation with Sony Michel and going to poundtown. Bears may want to incorporate that on some drives, especially if they put Daniels in more.

Again, the offense scored 28 points, on the road against a pretty good defense in Miami. That should had been enough to win.

The fact of the matter is the most important games come down to a handful, sometimes even one, play and Nagy has proven woefully unprepared for that. He is a loser.

Yup. Presently the Bears are top 3 defense and top 10 in offense. ((PPG)) That is the model the Bears need to follow to win the Superbowl in the next 3 years, elite defense and a good enough offense. Nagy is following the plan. Time for the defense, that has already been installed dating back to the previous regime, to close things out. If Fuller catches a ball against Green Bay and they tackle Albert Wilson on Sunday this team is 5-0.

(Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky looks like he might be good and Nagy's scheme is clearly what we were promised it would be. But Nagy still crumbles in big situations and ultimately that is a fatal flaw he is not going to overcome. The Bears could easily finish with a top 10 defense and top 10 offense yet finish out of the playoffs because the coach is not a real leader and cannot keep his composure.

It might be a bit early in his career to declare what Nagy is as a coach.

Fangio is a problem also, but you do have a good point. You have a guy like Howard on the team who has been proven to be useful, yet you choose not to use him in that way. Why?? This makes no sense. If you want to take the team in another direction, I'm good with that, but while he is on your team, you can't just let him gather rust. I get that you might not want to ground and pound, but if not, then you need to trade Howard for something else. I honestly don't know what you would get for him at this point, but all he is doing is getting you two yards per carry which is not NFL rosterable. If we are going to go wide crazy setups, we can't do it with Howard back there, or if we do, it is at our detriment. I am totally fine with four wide and Cohen back there. We just need a consistent gameplan that aligns with that, and that isn't out of the question to form.
