Well, friends, what now? With Mike D'Antoni accepting the New York Knicks' offer and Rick Carlisle leaving ESPN to take over the Dallas Mavericks, where do the Bulls go from here in regards to their next head coach? If you think for a second that Avery Johnson is coming here, I think you are sorely mistaken. I don't even think the Bulls will make an offer to the former Mavericks' head coach! The next head coach of the Bulls will be someone cheap, inexpensive and someone who won't cost owner Jerry Reinsdorf a lot of money. Yeah, it sucks, but I don't think Reinsdorf wants to get "Skiles"-ed again if the next Bulls' head coach doesn't work out in the long run. It's such a sticky situation right now, that I don't think a new head coach will be in place by the time either GM John Paxson or Assistant GM B.J. Armstrong represents the Bulls at the NBA Draft Lottery in the next week or two at that "Match Game"-like set in Secaucus, NJ. How embarrassing will that be?
