Seriously man. You need to find a new partner if Toxic isn't doing enough for you anymore.

We've all drunk posted irrational thoughts across multiple threads.

This too shall pass.

He must have had the Bears covering.

If you had told me before the first game that the Bears would be 3-2 heading into the New England game, I would have been thrilled. If they don't get hit with the offensive PI call late in regulation, they win and we're not having all this drama. Same if the FG kicker makes a sub-50 yard FG in a stadium where he had previously played.

Mitch is tied for 10th in QBR with Andy Dalton, and ahead of Rogers and Stafford. He's 7th in the more traditional QB rating, excluding all the guys who threw and completed one pass. He's going to regress as the Tampa game's effect gets diluted and teams are able to get more tape of him, but he appears to hit my goal of being the 14th-15th best QB in the league.

Nagy is coaching for Mitch not to lose the game late, almost as it's a future confidence thing. So of course then they lose late.

This is the problem with losing 2 games you should have won. The game you should have lost but couldn't win now looms massively.

They will paste the Jets. Even Nagy cant blow that one, on a 2 game losing streak all pissed off and infinitely more talented AND playing a rookie QB the week after facing the GOAT.

But it wouldn't shock me to see them lose to Buffalo and Detroit will be a dogfight.

No they won't.

How many games do you think they will lose in the next 4 weeks?

At least one--to the Vikings. I haven't made up my mind about Detroit yet, and I need to look at recent footage of the Jets to determine how/if they are evolving.

They'll beat the Jets and Vikings and I do not know what will happen against Buffalo or Detroit.

I figured that. The Vikings haven't looked impressive. They're definitely beatable.

I worry about the Bears on the road but they'll be playing a team who will struggle to score 10 points.

They will come out flat, unprepared and certain of victory. Just like the Titans and Vikings.

The Vikings aren't all that impressive, but the Bears are even less impressive. Khalil Mack needs to get healthy in a hurry.

Before Mack, I thought they'd be 2-4 or 1-5 right now (I always had Arizona as a win, wasn't sure about Tampa). I didn't get to see the Patriots game as I am on the road for work, but it sounds like Mack is not 100% and a not 100% Mack means the defense is just meh.

I thought they were a 5-11/6-10 team without Mack, and 8-8 or maybe if all broke right 9-7 with him. So I'm mostly concerned with the rest of the defense and offensively I just want Mitch to continue to learn how to make progressions and make adjustments to how teams adjust against him as the season drags on, and end the year as a league-average starter.

He should be healthy by then. This defense concerns me when Mack is playing on 1 leg

The terrible arm tackling displayed over the last two games has nothing to do with Mack's injury.

Everything to do with the country club training camp Nagy ran.

I think one of my favorite stats in the league so far this year is that Todd Gurley has now scored 7 more points than the Buffalo Bills this year. Bears should destroy them.

I think that they will win the next 3 games and the winner of the Bears/Vikings game will win the NFC North. A big key is the health of Mack.

Wow. Are you a Bear's fan? How can you not be excited right now about this season? And I am saying this as a Bear's cynic.

I don't think you know what "cynic" means.
