Weird how baseball works huh?!

7.5 hours games in a title series are not something to be celebrated, but are in fact proof of a game that is completely out of control. Absolutely no one needs 7.5 hours of baseball. I'm all for starting the 10th inning with a guy on base, and would even consider a limit on the number of relief pitchers teams can use during the first nine innings. Baseball is killing whatever fan base it has left with this nonsense.

Boston is bad for baseball.

That was baseball at it's unpredictable finest. Extra inning games are the best! It alters stategy, and managers are put to the test. It's rare that a game goes that long.

True, 18 innings is a rarity, but the 4.5 hour or 5 hour game happens every post season if not every post season series. I really don't need to see three relief pitchers used to get three outs, I don't need to see guys shuffling around for 30 seconds between every pitch. This is baseball, it's not brain surgery, get in the box, and pitch the ball.
