Krenzel had that one 50 yard bomb to Berrien and that was his highlight.

edit: found it, it was this game!

Minor League baseball All Star (despite his sterling .261 average) Tim Tebow?

Be glad you didn't predate that era. The very sight of David Greenwood and the thought of losing a coin flip would've made you retch.

And yes I know he wasn't near the worst, but damn if he wasn't emblematic of Chicago sports futility for my life to that point.

His agent is now the new Mets GM which is probably part of the reason he was hired. Anyone else would put an end to this farce but soon you will be able to add undeserving big leaguer to his list of accomplishments that include human dollar sign/walking bag of cash.

Matt Geiger is a solid one. Hell, there's several candidates from that 2001 Sixers team alone.

Winner(loser). Any pro who wants the video of the great Schaumburg(?) game destroyed has to end this thread once and for all.

Craig Krenzel is the runaway winner of this distinction.

He wasnt even the worst of that era.

How bout the Bears version of Chad Hutchinson who literally thanked the coaches for taking him out?

Anyone remember Chris Anstey and Rusty LaRue? Actually, Granville Waiters may be the correct answer but he was fun bad.

I was going with GW, but then remembered how fantastic Oden was in the NCAA tourney, then how he forgot how to play immediately after being drafted.

Wasn't Granville with Artis Gilmore the original Twin Towers?

You're likely correct, but my memory of Hutch is minimal
Krenzel's day as a Bear and his miracle run at OSU I'll never forget, try as I might.

The fun bad was when the crowd would chant for him to come into blowout games early in the Jordan era. Sometimes Collins gave in and the crowd would go nuts. :alien:

Forsey had one game where he carried 27 times for 134 yards and caught one pass and scored a touchdown. He really wasn't that bad at all. He was a good kid. I took him pheasant hunting on an off-day and filmed it and aired it on CLTV.

I remember sitting there at a draft party across from Spaulding when that pick was made. She said that pick sucked and I was ready to light into her as I loved the pick. I just kept quiet about it thinking I, of course, knew better.

The thing about Quinn is that he was a highly respected backup QB for several seasons. He probably played OK against second stringers in pre season games over the years and never had to take a regular season snap. He could have continued that way for a decade but got exposed by daring to sign as a starter. Then he lost the esteem of the league to even be a backup.

Wasn't Quinn the guy who was so nervous and scared in the huddle that he couldn't even get the play called?
