I'm not a sabrmetrics guy. The advanced stats I believe still favor Rodgers by a significant degree. Not at a computer right now.

I don't think QBR is worthless but Trent Dilfer helped develop it. Not exactly an analytic mind.

Most smart NFL guys prefer QBR over the antique QB rating. (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky is top 10 in that too.

The Bears have won like 9 games over the last three seasons. 4-3 thru seven games with a 24 year old QB and a new coaching staff is a big improvement.

There is no statistical analysis that would put him in the top 2 and he loses in the playoffs. He has like 30k yards passing for his career. He still has to pass Favre to crack the top 5. Production trumps talent.

We don't pass out Terrell Davis or Gayle Sayers awards when ranking all time quarterbacks. Besides Rodgers hasn't had a career ending injury and he's playing in the most pass happy and quarterback friendly era ever. He's top 10 but nowhere near passing Favre.

He passed Favre awhile ago. Favre's constant INTs and his team's piss poor record in his last several years with GB (before 2007) drags him down all time. Loved watching the guy play and he was my first sports hero or whatever, but he does not compare to Aaron Rodgers in terms of talent, production, and winning games.

The only knock you can find on Rodgers is postseason, and his postseason stats dwarf Favre's. You're never gonna see Rodgers throw 6 INTs in a playoff game.

You're insane. Rodgers doesn't take risks because he cares too much about interceptions. Favre took risks because he knew that was the best chance his team had to win. He also played in an era when it was okay to maul a QB.

Taking risks in an era that was soft like this one isn't the same as what Rodgers does. He doesn't take any risks because he doesn't want to throw an interception. That's what losers do.
