Taking risks in an era that was soft like this one isn't the same as what Rodgers does. He doesn't take any risks because he doesn't want to throw an interception. That's what losers do.

That's just dumb. Being careless with the ball is the worst thing a QB can do to his team. You sound ridiculous trying to spin it into a virtue.

Rodgers is a champion. Can't take that away from him. Mitch on the other hand...

Mitch is just getting started and already proving to be more productive.

Rodgers beat a team who had a quarterback coming off of a rape case and the defense won the game

The brain represses bad memories so I guess I can't blame you for misremembering how that game went.

Defense forced a fumble that led to a touchdown and Crosby put the Packers up 6 and Big Rapist couldn't lead the Steelers on a game winning drive.

We're focused on why 24 year old (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky is outplaying Mr Safe.

Rodgers is outplaying the Bortles of the North on one leg. He also beat him head to head on one leg for half the game.

We can all see the numbers and some aren't even close. It's really embarrassing to try to make excuses about why a raw 24 year old QB is outplaying a 35 year old future HoF QB.

The numbers suggest Rodgers is playing better than the Bortles of the North. Those of us confident in our analysis don't need to cherry pick meaningless numbers to try to make it look like a closer comparison than it is. One day you'll learn the value of a QB protecting the ball.

What numbers are more important than these?

Through 7 games

Rodgers:
2283 passing yards
13 passing touchdowns
61.3 completion percentage
53.8 QBR
YPA 8.0
3 Wins

(Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky:
1814 passing yards
15 passing touchdowns 2 rushing touchdowns
64.3 completion percentage
71.6 QBR
YPA 7.6
4 Wins

Y/A and TD/INT ratio are the two most important QB stats, and Rodgers destroys the Bortles of the North in both.

Rodgers is definitely better than Favre.

(Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky is the best of both.

No one but you believe that. QBR tells the complete story and Rodgers isn't even close. Even Y/A Rodgers barely has an edge. Outside of passing yards (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky is outclassing Rodgers in all of the important stats.

I don't believe 'Bortles of the North' is getting over as a clever phrase.

It's Kirkwood and FF. Packer fans think the light going on when you open up the fridge is clever.

I don't think QBR is worthless but Trent Dilfer helped develop it. Not exactly an analytic mind.

Most smart NFL guys prefer QBR over the antique QB rating. (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky is top 10 in that too.

Bears looking pretty good by Troy Aikman rating:

Mitch is clearly behind Rodgers in the two most important stats. Your spin job is failing hard.

The Bears are going to murder the Packers at home. It will hopefully put to rest this silly debate.

Only Packers fan would tell a lie like that.

Who gives a rat's ass about what a dipshit Packer fan thinks about anything? All they have in Wisconsin are dumb shit football fanatics, ugly women, and fat cows.

It is all that twit, FF, can think of. Think of what a shit hole Green Bay and Wisconsin in general is and it is no wonder why FF is as stupid as he is.

Rodgers isn’t done yet and he’s leaps and bounds better than (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky. I can appreciate the spirit of this thread, but that’s real talk.

Rodgers is a dying star. (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky is a protostar. Enjoy this.

I’m enjoying the potential, but he’s not ascended to Rodgers level. Rodgers right now, today, is levels above Mitch. Someday Mitch may be great, but he’s not great yet. Rodgers is.

After watching Brees dismantling the Rams defense today, I think he once again showed that he is in the top five qbs of all time. And what he showed also in this game that he is still in his prime and may hold all of the passing and yardage records before his career is over. The old guy was not even close to being sacked and still ran well for first downs when necessary. My favorite quarterback of all time.....Drew Brees. :D :D :D :D
