cool, Rick dies of tetanus and next week we get an hour of hallucination sequences before the episode ends with ghost Rick joining ghost Glen, ghost Herschel, ghost Carl and the rest of the fallen Jedi knights. I'm sure it will be rivetting.

Hopefully Negan kills Maggie and then next season the show moves on to focus all it's attention on Sidiq and Tara.

Holy shit. That was a legit good episode of television.

They actually had characters talking to each other and saying things that should have been said 3 seasons ago.

Well I didn't see that coming. What a strange episode. All indications are the Whisperers are on the way but not sure they have anything to do
with the helicopter. Certainly the way they were talking about A's and B's would lead me to believe they are connected though.

There is no way Rick or his horse should have survived for as long as they did.

That said, the acting in last night's episode was- for the most part- superb.

 Rick has twice as much blood as any normal human. The acting was indeed pretty good. I thought the episode was pretty good even though
it was strange and maybe created more questions than gave us answers.

so that was interesting. Loved the time jump and the ambiguity with Rick. Hope this means he is going to come back at some point.

Doubt the whisperers are connected to the helicoptor since the primative way they live doesn't jive with having a helicoptor.

That is what I wondered too. If you have a helicopter, there is no reason to slum it like the Whisperers.

The preview for the next few weeks shows the whisperers and yeah they definitely aren't chopper people.

I did enjoy the time jump.

I wasn't a fan of the time jump in combination with Rick surviving. So it's now going to be 6 years later, and Rick survives, and he's just going to forget about his family? That doesn't make any sense to me. Once he heals up, I would think he would be heading back home as quickly as possible, or he would die trying to get back to his family.

evidentaly they are going to do some AMC movies about what happens to Rick during the time jump. I'm sure they will be released as a double feature along with the Deadwood movie.

Not sure how Jadis just happened upon Rick without his own homies looking for and finding him first - I guess the blast just shot him over to her!

Not to mention that no one who witnessed the bridge explosion saw a helicopter landing a few moments later.

A lot of the things in this show don't make sense, but this isn't necessarily one of them. He wasn't picked up by an Uber... Heading home might not be a choice he gets to make.

I actually did like the episode. The movie thing is kind of weird but who knows maybe it works and if it doesn't work then we can just ignore it like we do Fear The Walking Dead.

I'm excited to see how they basically redo the whole world now. The zombies may actually matter again. The show was definitely dragging so it was a good idea to basically redo everything and start the story over.

Zombies won't matter any more than they do now.

The movie thing is a cop out but maybe it'll be good.

I don't know where they go with the "reboot" plan otherwise. We don't need another group they kill for half a season, then lose a few of their own, and then slowly kill them before quickly killing them or winning and then taking a few of their people as main characters.

You are just anti-hero.

I bet you probably don't like Superman, either.

His results as leader are unmatched and he built them for success for 6 years after his "death".
