Terrible. Now the Bears play on a Sunday night and a Thursday. That's bullshit.

The early game on Thursday no less. That is pretty shitty.

I'm not sure if it will matter but a night game and short turn-around to a Thursday 11am Thanksgiving game start might be rough.

Either way it's a W for the Beloved of course.

We are talking a difference of 7 hours, do you think it really matters?

In terms of gameplanning for Thurs and processing/watching tape from Sunday, yeah 7 hours might be a big difference.

The good news is that the Bears will be familiar with what the Lions want to do so that shouldn't hurt too much. The 7 extra hours of healing will make a difference.

How come nobody’s talking about how they now play Sunday night and the early TGiving game?!?!?

Mulli insisted this was going to happen this morning, and all of Haugh/Bernstein/McKnight dismissed it.

I'm not worried about the Vikings. And the Packers are so far behind in the standings they aren't even worth thinking about.

dumb NFL should have protections for Thursday teams to prevent them from being flexed

Does this preclude another flex for the December 9th game against the Rams?

Yeah I mentioned it yesterday. Looks like the flex rules allow it. In any case, it's an annual event hosted by my brother in law. Being flexed out of a noon game would ruin the set-up. They rent a party bus and get down there as soon as the gates open.

Fans of the third place team can only attempt to troll Bears fans at this point. Very sad.

I think the Rams are already scheduled for Sunday night the following week.

Doesn't matter...didn't the Chiefs just play back to back Sunday night games?

Yeah I guess you're right. I would not have guessed they would have the same team 2 weeks in a row...

I think this Vikings game is going to be one of those knock down, drag out brawl types with the final score being around 20-17 on a last second kick. It is going to be brutal to have to hop back on a plane late and prepare in three days.

Like someone else said though, this week is essentially game planning for two weeks as they will play the Lions twice within 11 days. Make sure the team is hype focused all week and it will pay off on the short one.

Vikings game will be a toss up like you said. But those Lions games should be wins.

Lots of exciting and meaningful Bears football upcoming.

All Thanksgiving teams should be coming off their bye week, and also there should be no Thursday games after Thanksgiving since it's then too late to come off bye weeks.
