You ever make it through one single day posting here without referring to some woman you don't even know as a bitch or a whore?

Sure. But since it irritates you, I'll keep doing it. In other words, eat shit. :D :D :D

Everyone involved in the Aaron Rodgers/State Farm commercials is completely unlikable. Not in a funny Eastbound and Down kind of way, but in a completely detestable and unfunny way.

The glut of political commercials in the last few days leading up to the election is making watching anything live (i.e. football) almost impossible.

I just caught the Rauner one that shows Madigan and Pritzker getting married because they're gay with each other and hate Illinois. No one's topping that.

Title card -- JB Pritzker and Mike Madigan: An Unholy Union

The Mendelsohn is playing while they shoot Pritzker and Madigan stand-ins from the back as they're going through modified wedding vows: something like "Mike Madigan, do you swear to ruin Illinois like you always have?" and "JB Pritzker, do you swear to do whatever Mike Madigan tells you to do?" and they both say "yeah you got it" or "sounds like a deal" or something. Then the reverend or whatever says "I now declare that Illinois is [BLEEP]ed." Lots of weird sexual dynamics here, to say the least, with Mike Madigan clearly the top but also taking on the whole state of Illinois as a third.

He does come off as very likable. His last name is relatively easy to pronounce, but the bit they do in the commercial works.

Wait.

Is he a Democrat or Republican?

What sort of reputation does Common have? He comes off as pretty obnoxious in the commercials for Microsoft.

Every single one of these political ads are soul sucking. The Madigan/Prickzter gay for each other one made me laugh today, though. Sam Yingling (Gurnee area state rep) rang my doorbell right around kickoff today, and I declined a discussion, or to even invite him in out of the rain, because the game was starting and I’m predisposed to hating politicians, anyway. I did thank him for not having shitty commercials on my tv, but I told him I’m sick of the sheer volume of mailers his office sends out. Big props to him for going door to door, though.

What I hate about the political ads is they can say whatever they want. I heard one that said so-and-so voted to kick survivors out of domestic violence shelters. I'm guessing the guy voted down a budget that would, among thousands of other things, increase spending for such shelters, but they phrase it is such a way that is just so disingenuous.

Franky T wants you to believe that he supports women and has no issue with women in sports. But did you know that he posted in a 756 PAGE thread about a woman in sports where she was called fat?

If Franky T is lying about this, what else is he hiding?

The preceding was paid for by the new world order.

it finally occurred to me that that is H. Jon Benjamin in those terrible weird Arby's commercials.
I like him, but I don't like the ads, and the food is even worse.

20+ years ago I loved their Beef 'n Cheddars but I haven't eaten there in ages. About a month ago I had their smokehouse brisket sandwich and it was terrible. Are the Beef 'n Cheddars still good?

Arby's is one of those places where like every two years you get a craving for it and you have to go there. Halfway thru the meal, you realize why you haven't been there in two years.

The political ads are bad, but its the amount of them that drive me crazy.

I watch WGN news in the morning (Not really watching, but on in the background while getting ready and helping get the kids out the door). Every commercial break is back to back to back to back to..... political ads. Even if a candidate created the most effective ad in the history of politics, it would just get lost in the shuffle of 3 minutes with 20 seconds per candidate. The only tagline I can remember from them is "what the heck Beck?", because the ad screams that half a dozen times. No idea what/who the office/candidate are though...

"I now pronounce Illinois fucked" is pretty memorable.

Arby’s is solid. They, along with Taco Bell, are always trying to push the limits of fast food. I respect that

Arby's had or has creamsicle shakes and that's cool.

I usually stop there whenever work takes me out near one of the few ones out south every 3-4 months. The beef & cheddars have the McDonald's processed like consistency.

The quality and consistency of Arby's "Roast Beef" makes Buddig look like Boar's Head by comparison.
Someone mentioned the once in a blue moon craving for a beef n cheddar or 3, I get them too, but it's ALWAYS a disappointment.
I don't even think they use onion rolls anymore.
It's garbage, and it's expensive. Do they still make the Jamocha shake? Those were good...

Jamocha Shake still there. They also have a decent cherry turnover. Best fast food mozzarella sticks.

The problem is the price. It’s expensive because if you want a good BnC, you need to get like the jumbo sized sandwich.
