They've had back to back teams on Sunday night before.

You're allowed 3 Sunday night games max. This Viking game will be their 2nd. I think the Rams game will be flexed. If not to the night game they'll at least make it a 3:25 game that Buck and Aikman will do.

That is stupid, of course, but I always liked the Week 17 slate where there's so much going on in the noon slot all at once.

I miss the Saturday doubleheaders down the stretch when the college season ended and the day wasn't protected anymore. I wish they could start those right after Thanksgiving and tell the NCAA to deal with it, but damn antitrust exemption and such.

Yeah, those Saturday doubleheaders were fun on those December Saturdays that have nothing else besides meaningless lower bowl games and regular season basketball and hockey. They were killed in favor of Thursdays to build the NFL Network up.

Depending on when the Holidays fall, a Friday Night NFL game would be cool on Dec 21st or 22nd or whatever. A Friday night NFL game the day after Thanksgiving would be neat as well I think.

I think they brought them back last year. Week 15 and 16 have them this year.

I cannot get too worked up about this one yet with this Lions one staring US in the face.

However, this game just does not shape up very well for The Beloved.

The Vikings have not looked good any game I've seen them. Even last week it looked more like the Lions could not block than anything. Cousins didn't do much.

If Mack is healthy the Bears will be fine.

Vikings coming off a bye. Dalvin Cook's first game at full health and majority snaps. The Vikings also get healthy on defense. Bears coming off a division game

The Vikings team we have seen this year hasn't been at full strength. It will be that day.
