The Bears need them to be bad 1 more year so our 2nd round pick becomes essentially a late first round pick.

Dont see that happening. Things turn around quickly. See: Bears.

The heavy doses of TRADITION & NOSTALGIA rammed down viewers throats will obscure the calling of the play on the field, I'd bet.

I believe it was OKC who threw a huge fit about SHARK commenting on ABC "bosses" and the San Antonio Spurs.

Yes, that is correct. But every time I see ALL CAPS and a ! or ? in the middle of a sentence, I can't help but think of the psychotic ramblings that were bigfan posts.

Would have been a safety but Cam made it a pick 6.

Olsen was right in front of him by 5-10 yards. Throw it at his feet and it's an incomplete pass. What a dumb fuckin play by Cam.

Well, this game wasn't even fun for the 30 minutes that I watched it.

Rivera needs to work on his COATCH-ness.

Franco Harris was a bitch.

If he could have lined up 3 yards from the sideline he would have done so.

It's what made Jim Brown's comeback threat so funny (& insulting)

I'm sure Franco Harris is probably 70-years-old and would absolutely kick my ass without breaking a sweat to this day.

But, it still felt good saying it.

This helps the Saints because they have a major trap game coming up. But Christ the Steelers are almost on Patriot-level of gift calls and generosity from the refs. Even Aikman took a shot.

Been sitting here with my son having the exactly same conversations for the last thirty minutes.

Man what a terrible penalty or call. Ben slides at the last second while a dude is already in motion for the tackle and it's a penalty plus ejection. Can't play defense anymore

Agreed. He was airborne already and barely touched him.

The Steelers are for real.

Yeah, totally agree. He's at full speed going at him. Everything looks horrible in slow motion. In real-time, there's no way he can pull up.

I'm OK with the penalty but you can't eject the guy.

Cool. NFL Network and the Steelers admitting live on national TV that concussion protocol is bullshit.

Good to know.

They really need to change the qb slide rule. I was watching Seattle last week and Wilson will take off on a called qb run play and get 7 or 8 yds and then throws on the maverick air brakes out of nowhere and you somehow have to pull up and not hit him. Its not like these guys all slide either. Depending on the guy or the situation they will dive headfirst.

The protection for the QB should remain behind the line of scrimmage. If you are going to take off running then you should take the beating that every RB and WR and TE takes. If you are some old broke dick and you are running I suppose you can take a knee/slide and be considered down, provided there is no one within 3 yds of you when you make that call.

And what if you are in the wildcat or have some fucked up set like the Saints with Taysom? If Taysom takes a handoff can he get hit? If the qb throws a quick backwards pass to a wr who then throws it back to the qb, is the recieving qb allowed to get crushed like a wr or is he afforded the slide?
