Every Saturday morning starting at 9 am with Bruce Levine & Matt Spiegel.

Talking Chicago Baseball year round - Northside & Southside.

Should be a good one this morning...

Does Theo & Company want Maddon to "just go away" on his own? Will Bryce Harper really be a White Sox? Kris Bryant trade bait... What?!? Cubs pitching coach, Maddon guy Hickey, on the hot seat? Sox Manager Renteria extension announced weeks after the fact? No "Untouchables" within The Friendly Confines? White Sox Michael Kopech giving up his jersey #34?

David Ross the next Cubs Manager?

How about being the bench coach first?

Wow that may have been the greatest point Levinline has ever made.

“Are these coaching changes a coverup for mistakes made by the analytics department?”

Say it ain't so!!!

So this is their version of Murph and Fred? Same time slot. What a laugh. Murphy’s baseball knowledge is still 100x better than these 2 combined.

Is it on podcast? I’ll try to listen later.

More Baseball talk in the offseason is good.

He was practically a bench coach as a player.

The new model for coaches and field managers is young enough to relate to players, low experience, and fealty to the front office. The days of big personalities between in players and management like Ozzie, Maddon, and Quenneville are over for now.

The Saturday morning shows on both stations are better than the normal shows during the week.

Not bad at all!

I always like Levine when he was on ESPN but never was a fan of Spiegs.

But Levine really does a good job calming Speigs down. Speigs isnt as annoying and childish as he was with Parkins.

Maybe Spiegs respects Levine and sort of learned a lesson. Surprisingly Speigs comes off very professional and actually listenable. You don't feel the underlying spite like he had when he was with Parkins

Levine brought up a good story how when he was at ESPN, the management pushed him out and asked him to basically train Jesse Rogers as a baseball expert. Asked him to introduce Jesse to all the baseball bigwigs. And Levine did! He said it sucked but he didnt want to take out his displeasure at management at Jesse. What a great guy!

I will listen to this weekly. Murph and Fred + Levine/Speigs baseball talk is probably better than any of the weekly shows both stations have on.

Good point, CH. It will be interesting to see the Cubs go in this direction.

Matt's wheelhouse has always been baseball. It was incredibly disappointing when he quit inside the clubhouse years ago

this is Levine's inner Telander. Which, coincidentally never left; as he is merely a windsock

No Spiegel this morning. David Schuster pinch hitting.

He must have had too much fun with Shep yesterday.

Spiegs and Shep was a pretty good listen.

Schuster always a good listen.

Schuster & Levine interesting team. Schuster is always good when he fills in.

When Speigel's contract expires and he's out it will be good news.

He's a good weekend host. Used to listen to him when he hosted a weekend overnight show on Sporting News Radio.

Just finished listening. I really liked Schuster over Speigal.

Levine revealed Hickey left for 'HR Reasons' which he cannot disclose.

listened to today's show on podcast.

Today's show is VERY VERY GOOD. Probably the best show on the score I've heard in years. Yes Years!

The magic is they stick to talking baseball and sports.

Spiegs was talking about the terms of somebody's contract when Levine slipped.
