In addition to Quinn as GM and Patricia HC, the guy the Patriots tasked with baby-sitting Aaron Hernandez followed Quinn to Detroit in 2016.

In an effort to put distance between himself and his hometown/crew back in Bristol, Hernandez went to Belichick about 5 months before the Odin Lloyd murder and asked to be traded to a West Coast team. Belichick refused to trade Hernandez and instead tasked Kevin Anderson with arranging extra security for Hernandez and setting up a secret stash house for Hernandez to keep his guns and drugs and side pieces.

Boston Globe has a podcast/print series about Aaron Hernandez called 'Gladiator' that doesn't paint either Belichick or Urban Meyer in the best light. Tho to despicable* Urban Meyer's credit he was ready to send Hernandez packing a year earlier until Tim Tebow intervened and asked that they keep Hernandez and his habit of getting into trouble around Gainesville for one more season.
