Speaking to #Bears kicker Cody Parkey this week, he doesn't come down to Soldier Field during the week because of the commute issues, Maybe he should re-think it.

Mack did an air guitar routine after a sack. A reporter asked him about the motivation behind it.

Do kickers usually practice during the week at Solider Field? Never remember hearing that.

Kap said last week that Gould, the holder, the snapper and punter would routinely head down and kick at Soldiers Field during the week once the weather started to turn.

Makes sense.

Yeah I don't wanna hear about commute issues. You are making millions of dollars. Do what you need to do in order to be successful in your job.

Deadspin was nice enough to show all 4 misses in 30 seconds
In all but one kick, the flags were either not moving or barely moving in the breeze. In one kick the upright flags were moving a bit, not really much of a wind factor today.
This dude is a headcase now. Can that be recovered from? I don't think so.

This is a really good offense despite not having a good running game. The Cardinals game is the only game that the Bears didn't score at least 23 points. To put that in perspective the Bears offense only scored 23 points 4 times last season. You shouldn't lose many games when your team is averaging 30 points per game.

I don't think Parkey is bad because he doesn't practice at Soldier Field.

This is going to be quite a game against the Vikings. It's nice to have some meaningful Bears football to watch this late in the season.

From the Google Machine...

"Uber's official statement about peak driving times indicates that peak times for driving are during the morning hours from 7-9 and in the evening from 4-7 pm"

So, anytime between 9 am and 4 pm shouldn't be a problem?

Crowby’s been ok since his Detroit disaster. Maybe Parkey recovers

Crosby was one of the best before then. Of course he was going to be fine.

You cannot be a great team without being able to run when you need to.

I don't know what it is about Reid type offenses (which generally do run OK) that cannot run the ball when necessary. My guess is that it has something to do with the blocking mentality imposed by the offense. This team has THE GREAT Harry Heistand though. Run fucking block all week, dude.

Mitch makes up for it. He provides something this offense hasn't had since McNabb and he appears to be a better passer. Westbrook was solid but too small and Jamaal Charles couldn't stay healthy, Howard has no excuse.

Not much is more back breaking and demoralizing to a defense than a QB running for a first when you think you have an entire play covered and bottled up.

Have the Patriots ever had a really great running game? A precise short passing game makes up for it. Howard will have his moments going forward too.

I am a long way from calling the Bears great. Their run game is spotty, and special teams is net negative. I would say they are a good team with a lot of potential.
