I would doubt he really knows anything. As Zeph pointed out, he's been grinding his axe against the Score longer than he's been going after Dummy DeLuca, but the way I read it is that the powers that be may already be tired of DeCastro.

I know people are upset with DeCastro, but to the best of my knowledge, they're just people on Twitter who miss Jason Goff. Why might the top bosses at Entercom be upset with how Chicago is doing? Is the Ed Lover Morning Show that much of a disaster?

That's true, but I still think Bernstein is skating on thin ice.

There's no point in pairing Bernstein with a Bernstein simulation on the same show. One of the Bernstein variants needs to go. I'm going to guess that DeCastro will jettison the more expensive one.

Agreed on all accounts above. Somewhere I asked if Hanley and Bernstein could be an option. I have never heard them together. The Hanley scale bumping with Bernstein could be interesting...and more expensive so it won't happen. Connor and the Hanley scale seems a bad match.

The Connor scale is for mispronounced words. Zennith is one Connor. raCOURSE is two or three.

Why does a REALLY. SMART. English major mispronounce so many words? That's odd. Does Bernstein ever correct him on the air? That must drive him nuts. Yarr.

It's what happens when you read lots of words but never have occasion to say them out loud to anyone. Chapo Trap House Syndrome.

He also seems to have problems with basic participles: "runnin", "wonderin", "askin", etc. That g-dropping maggot McKnight desperately needs to be skullfucked with a crowbar.

I only listen on Fridays but every single Friday I wonder, Why is this dipshit on my radio?

I never in a million years thought I'd say this:

I feel sorry for Dan Bernstein.

Anyone hear the Vikings announcer Paul Allen on this morning? He asked, "what the hell happened to Hanley?" Allen mentioned that he hoped Hanley hit it big at the track and told the Score to shove it. Allen then asked Haugh who he was and what his first name was. Haugh was super dejected when answering.

Allen talked about Hanley again later in the segment, and Mulligan immediately ended it without saying goodbye and started talking about the Bears-Vikings game as if nothing had happened.

I meant I almost posted about it....they'll put that segment on the website. Very odd.

I just listened. I think they cut it out. And it is seamless.

Kinda shows Haugh is a bitch. He was obviously bothered by it and wanted it cut out

Radio is traditionally pretty weird about discussing previous shows and hosts. It's like the guy on the radio yesterday never existed.

The Score has usually been a refreshing change of pace.

It really was quite excellent. Kinda low-class to edit something like that out. That said, my first guess as to who had it edited out wouldn't be Haugh but Management (theirs, not ours).
