At least i now know your excuse. Jig is up. You've been following the league via Twitter. All you're doing is "parroting" someone else's opinions and attempting to pass them off as your own.

You won't be trickening me dude.

Weird night in the NBA. Bucks and Raptors both lose at home. Suns pasting the Spurs. Mavs almost doubling up the Jazz. Jazz' play about half their road games in the first 2 months of the season? Expect Jazz to lose less/climb the WC rankings post Christmas.

Butler-free Twolves beat AD's Pelicans in Minnesota. Timberwolves are 6-1 @home.

Brett Brown not the right guy to lead these Sixers to the promised land? Despite the loss to Memphis at home tonight, Bucks succeeding playing Budenholzer ball in Milwaukee. Middleton shooting ~8 threes a game and hitting 45% of them in Bud's space-and-pace offense. Dunno if Budenholzer would wanna coach the Sixers current roster, if the Sixers had swapped Brown for Bud in the off-season. Maybe the Sixers don't part ways with so many of their shooters under a coach like Budenholzer.

Heard someone characterize the Sixers trading for Butler as betting on a guy who has burnt down 2 locker rooms not being an arsonist.

I don't think Milwaukee is as good as they've shown. They will come back to the pack before its over. Will probably be a 6th seed.

As far as Philly goes I'm starting to wonder the same thing. I have my doubts about Brown.

From a financial standpoint Butler is probably in a worse situation with Philly than he was with Minnesota. I think he wants Supermax dough but the biggest contracts in Philly are going to be earmarked for Embiid and Simmons. Think Embiid reupped last season. Can't remember terms and if there is an opt out but He and Simmons are going to be the highest paid guys going forward.

Don't know what that leaves available for Butler. If Fultz turns out then its a 3rd guy that has to be paid.

The Bulls are in better shape going forward than they would have been with Butler. The Timberwolves already have a winning streak without him.

Walt wouldn't know that (or much of anything else). He doesn't watch the games. He is a Hashtag Hack (the worst kind of hack) and a blogosphere bloviator.

Bulls have been demonstrably worse since Butler left. Hard to blame him if they finally improve 5 years after he leaves.

They weren't going anywhere with him. They were better off starting to rebuild

That might be true but they definitely have not improved since he left. They went from a playoff team to one of the worst teams in the league and are still at that low point currently.

what NBA thoughts does Nas think through ever? Remember, this is the guy who said he would be shocked if the Bulls finished lower than the #5 seed in the East and also said that Justin Patton could be the 2nd best player in the Butler trade.

He's got diarhea of the keyboad when it comes to NBA.

If Dunn, Markkanen, Portis, and Valentine were healthy I think the Bulls would be about .500 right now. They obviously didn't have the margin for error for those type of injuries. But yeah I think he underestimated how much of a negative impact Hoiberg as coach is on the team when he said that.

I don't get the Patton comment. Only reasonable explanation is he drank a gallon of whisky right before posting that. Saric and Covington are solid NBA players.

I didn't foresee the Bulls losing their best player and others for over a month. I'm sorry I didn't have a crystal ball. Now I'm hoping they miss more time because the top of the draft will be deep.

We don't know what Patton could be because he hasn't been healthy. The Wolves didn't exactly get back world beaters my friend.

I'm fine with getting things wrong. In general it would probably be better for you to tell me why you believe that I'm wrong instead of shouting "YOU'RE WRONG!"

I don't think he underestimated Hoiberg. Nas's problem when it comes to evaluating the Bulls is he forgets there are a bunch of other teams in the league and that those teams are also actively trying to improve.

Wolves got back 2 guys who some publications have ranked as top 50 players in the NBA. The Patton comment is ridiculous and really doesn't need to be debated. YOU'RE WRONG should suffice.

Many saw Patton being the first big man off the board in the draft. He wasn't a draft day reach. I said could based on the Sixers wanting him included and their past success with big men and foot injuries.

I looked at the Bulls talent and saw that talent being good enough for a 5th or 6th seed. There are 3 great teams in the East. Then there are the Bucks and the Pacers in the 2nd tier. I was hopeful that with the talent on paper the Bulls could jump into the 2nd tier.

Bucks are as good as any team in the East. Too many NBA posters are this board are slow in recognizing changes to the league.
