Rams will lose this weekend, setting up a huge game between the Rams and the Bears down the line for that second bye

The Rams D is kinda dogshit, I expect KC to drop 40 plus on em. I think the Bears can drop 40 on em. They don't rush the QB

I also think that the Rams are a paper tiger. Good team but Goff stays in the pocket and I think that the BEars will KILL a pocket QB. And I think that KC will drop a lot of points on them in a shootout.

Gurly has 200 carried already.. Dude won't hold up another 175 carries imo

Can we get a wellness check on the Packers? They were up 14-3 with the ball and I thought they were getting ready to smoke the Seahawks.

If the Bears make it in, i think they're probably a one and done playoff team.

But thats still a successful year.

wuss

80+% chance they are in and you are still holding back

a team that is below .500 right now would have to jump them in order not to make it as at least a wild card

WOnder what the over-under setting would be if the Chiefs played the Saints in the Super Bowl? 80?

You have to wonder if it might be better to be the highest seeded wildcard team(vs winning the division) and getting a chance to play whoever wins the garbage NFC east?

If the Bears stay in the #3 spot (seems likely), they are looking at Minnesota, Carolina with chances still of teams like Seattle, GB, and Washington or Philadelphia.

Carolina (especially) and Minnesota are the two most likely to claim these two wildcard spots, but the Vikings still have games vs. GB, NE, Seattle and Miami. Way too early to say if 2-2 in that stretch will be good enough....Seattle has the 49ers 2x, KC, Minnesota and Arizona. If they beat Minnesota, that could decide the wildcard race.

One of GB/Minnesota will be eliminated from the playoff race for all intents and purposes this Sunday.

Right now, the Bears will be favored against anyone except New Orleans and the Rams in the NFC. ANd I think that the game with the Rams coming up will tell us a lot about going forward. Right now, New Orleans is playing the best football.

I don't blame you. I think their season is done but they'd have to basically run the table to get in and nobody would want to face Rodgers if he's won 6 in a row en route the playoffs.

Feel like Vikings beating Packers was better than Vikings losing. Packers already beat Bears. Bears already beat Vikings. Packers have easier games rest of season, and most of them are at home. I think this loss puts Packers away for the season.

That being said, Packers look pretty bad regardless.

neither of those teams have been particularly impressive

Welcome to the faint of heart who wouldn't join me two weeks ago. Doesn't it feel great to now be talk about playoff positioning with the question of whether they will make it at all being a foregone conclusion

Dallas putting it out there for the Bears on how to shut/slow down the Saints offense. If the Bears take care of business in NY, then beat the Rams, they might put themselves in the driver's seat for a bye in the playoffs.
