He was getting real cute at the end.

Did lots of good, but 5 turnovers is brutal. The last 2 picks were god awful.

It was desperation and his arm got hit.

This is gonna sound dated, but it's nice to see all those guys with grass stains everywhere. Even if it was a shitty looking turf..

Absolute stud. He's already an elite QB. The 5 turnovers didn't change that.

I agree but I'm not sure if say he had a great game. Everything in this game was turned up to warp speed but 5 turnovers, two of which resulted in opposing TDs, in a game that ended up being decided by 3 is tough. He's clearly gonna be great for a long time barring injury though.

If (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky had a similar performance the media would shit all over him and say he's not good enough to take this Bears team to a Superbowl.

"WOW" is what you say watching him effortlessly throw the ball. He had like 900 yards and 6 touchdowns. I don't knock him for the last 2 picks. He got his arm hit on one and the last was a hailmary.

yeah what was that about mexico city's field? every time i saw the turf in this game it looked pretty rough. i'm sure it was in actual better shape but it just looked like, if you were casually watching, you'd think they still wound up playing in MC sometimes.

It was like a Rose Bowl game where you see two teams with good defenses coming into the game playing at 28-21 by halftime. Something weird about that stadium

Except neither team has a good defense and the game wasn't played at the Rose Bowl.

Now I know that USC is going to play six games a year there and there's always more Olympiads every few decades, but what's the rationale for a $300MM renovation of the Colosseum?

Colt McCoy doesn't seem to be very good.

He looked serviceable in the first half.

I wasn't able to watch the whole first half. So, I am willing to hold back on a final opinion.

I hate watching things about Steve Gleason (because I'm selfish). We are all just blowhards with problems so insignificant, we have the luxury of fighting about them on a message board. God bless individuals like him who have REAL struggles.

Hard to not cheer for Brees even if he did go to Purdue

There was so much build up to this game that I was worried it’d be a Payton Special letdown. Instead, they made my whole weekend. I love watching this.

WZ this is lining up to be an epic matchup. Winter is coming, Brees staking his legacy against the young upstart Bears. We deserve to watch this NFC title game.

His gadget plays with #7 seem to be allowing him to call plenty of runs and maintain his feelings of creative geniousness. So we may be safe with a running game superior to 2009 and with a defense rounding into form.

Not to mention Brees.

There is a reason you and WZ expected the worst when the season started and the Saints won't disappoint. #BEARS

There were several reasons, just like in 2009. Or for lingering Bears fans above 40 who remember it, 1985. :D
