I agree but I'm not sure if say he had a great game. Everything in this game was turned up to warp speed but 5 turnovers, two of which resulted in opposing TDs, in a game that ended up being decided by 3 is tough. He's clearly gonna be great for a long time barring injury though.

If (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky had a similar performance the media would shit all over him and say he's not good enough to take this Bears team to a Superbowl.

yeah what was that about mexico city's field? every time i saw the turf in this game it looked pretty rough. i'm sure it was in actual better shape but it just looked like, if you were casually watching, you'd think they still wound up playing in MC sometimes.

It was like a Rose Bowl game where you see two teams with good defenses coming into the game playing at 28-21 by halftime. Something weird about that stadium

There was so much build up to this game that I was worried it’d be a Payton Special letdown. Instead, they made my whole weekend. I love watching this.

His gadget plays with #7 seem to be allowing him to call plenty of runs and maintain his feelings of creative geniousness. So we may be safe with a running game superior to 2009 and with a defense rounding into form.
