Floyd is a much better coverage LB and run defender than Young was. As I said, you’re looking at sacks and nothing else and even for an edge player there’s a lot more to the game.

No he isn’t. You’re just looking at sack numbers and judging things off that. There’s not a team in the NFL he wouldn’t get major snaps for.

No dipshit.. I'm looking at his 3rd year in league. He will never be Willie Young( average) he can't physically hold up to 16 plus weeks of NFL football, he's skinny as fuck and was old for a rookie. It was an awful pick

He's dropping back because a back or tight end can stop him.

And because he can stop a back or tight end.

Balance is the key to life, and football, playa.

When you draft a pass rusher top 10, it's to reek havoc on the opposing quarterback, not to "cover running backs in the passing game".

Have you noticed the top offenses in the NFl currently employ Gurley, Kamara, Hunt, James White, and Tarik Cohen?

Covering RBs in the passing game has never been a more useful skill for a LB than it is in 2018.

He doesn’t need to be as fast them to cover them for 2.5 seconds. Youre just wrong on him being some can’t even play buster. He’s not the guy they thought they were drafting but he’s going to have a 10+ year career as a solid player.

We have seen 3 time Pro Bowl edge rusher Anthony Barr getting beat by RB on deep routes many times this season. RB covered by a LB on a deep route is a loss for every team.

I've detailed this before, Floyd was exactly this kind of OLB in college. He didn't have huge sack numbers because Georgia was using him in many different ways beyond pass rushing. The Bears are utilizing him almost identically with the same results.

I am disappointed by the sack numbers this year but I don't think he is having a horrible season. Leonard Floyd will make a lot of money from some team on his second contract.

Floyd is not even the right answer to the question.

Prince A is the right answer.

I'd say it is Amos. They eye test tells a different story than the grades he gets. I like him but he is a replaceable safety

Do you think it was a good pick? They traded up too. I thought it was a no brainer to stay put and get Tunsil.

Whether it was a good pick or not has nothing to do with the question at hand.

I am pretty sure dolphin was driving the Tunsil bandwagon in that draft.

We've discussed this, they traded up because the Giants were set to take him just ahead of the Bears. I was a Tunsil guy then and still would be today.

Keanu Neal, William Jackson, and possibly Tunsil, are the only players you'd take over Floyd right now out of the 15 players selected after him in that draft.

Wasn’t Amos one of the two or three highest rated safeties by PFF last season? Now he’s invisible because everyone mops up in front of him.

Prince has a knack for staying glued to opposing receivers.

I’ve been pleasantly surprised by Floyd in recent weeks.

Feels great to be a Bears fan these days.
