Dipshit, you specifically referred to him as an APE...a majestic silver backed example...but an ape nonetheless.

You want to call Gorilla Monsoon a gorilla? Go right ahead. You want to call Bobo Brazil a gorilla? I hope he'd have ripped your arms off.

No I did not call him an ape, asshole. Once again, you lie as the pathetic little creep that you are.

There really is a segment of this board that really wants to speak it's archaic, irrational "truth". It wasn't this way in early 2016.

It doesnt take much to understand what you're getting at and it's a bit disappointing.

Bring back Bigfan! I remember the guest posting days so this is nothing in comparison to that. As difficult as it may be I think it is best to laugh or ignore a lot of the ignorance. Anything else seems to feed their desire for attention.

In one season, I'd already have to put him up there with Urlacher as the best Bear defensive player since the 85 group

Way to go out on a limb with that one.

I'll take it a step further. Mack is having the best defensive season since anyone on the 85 teams. Better than Urlacher.

No he isn't.

Urlacher was also a force of nature and at his best he was every bit as good as Mack if not better. Also never had to worry about Urlacher being in "game shape". Prisoners of the moment here IMO.

Don't get me wrong, I love Urlacher, he's deserving of being called a HOF'er.

I don't understand the "game shape" comment.

They're both freaks of nature. Urlacher could be everywhere making plays in open space. His Achilles heal was his inability to shed blockers, especially when he rushed the passer. That's where a Ray Lewis, Mack and LT stand out.

Mack is a pass rusher so when he blows a play up it tends to happen behind the line of scrimmage. When Urlacher blew a play up, it was generally in front of the line of scrimmage.

If Mack keeps playing at this level, he will likely be in the HOF. Urlacher basically revolutionized his position and is miles ahead of where Mack is in terms of their overall careers.

You would not be saying that had Mack been here to start his career, rather than in Oakland where you never got to watch him play.

I actually think what made Urlacher special is that he didn't revolutionize the position. Nobody before or since has been able to do what he did when it came to locking up the entire middle of the field. Keuchley is the closest probably and he wasn't/isn't as good as Urlacher was.

Pretty much. Urlacher played the middle as a free safety.

Different kind of linebackers. #54 was the middle lb in a 4-3. He covered a lot more of the field. Mack's main game is breaking things up at the line of scrimmage in a 3-4 and getting to the qb. Lovie was a pretty conservative coach defensively and didn't go after the qb like Fangio wants to do. Different players. Both great but for different reasons.

This is like Floyd or Deaaron Fox.. Just accept that you're wrong. Mack is better than Urlacher, it was apparent before he even got traded here.

Rpb couldn't even admit JJ watt was better than Urlacher. Bear fans have little knowledge outside of their own team.

You waaaaayyyyyy overestimate your own knowledge. You're wrong A LOT.

How did you get so conceded? Remember when you thought Jon Gray and Sonny Gray were the same person? Or that Urlacher never won a DPOY?

I dont remember the Watt vs Urlacher discussion. Quote it if you can.
