Daniel missed two guys wide open for TDs. Miller and Burton. But keep trolling.

Burton needs to keep his head down and walk directly to the bus after that game.

Agreed. He had a shitty game.

Chase was fine.

He's not a particularly good NFL QB. He's got zero arm strength, zero escapeablity and I think he's closer 5'11 than 6 feet. He left plays on the field all day. He dinks and dunks and doesn't turn the ball over. Which is ok, I guess for one game.

For not being able to practice I will take that.

Anyone criticizing Daniels is nuts.

The dude struggled a bit but played great overall.

Not only is this team good, they're fun to watch and funny as hell. You can tell these guys enjoy each other's company which you can't say about the '06-'10 teams.

I think most of those are pretty silly but Bush coming in and acting like the crowd going crazy was fantastic.

Yeah that was a temptations tribute in Detroit. And they did the viking boat rowing thing in Minnesota. I like it.

I think dolphin and I were pretty pro-EJ back on draft day also.

Also that was a penalty on Fuller.

You all were definitely pro Eddie Jackson. That's a great draft pick. He's an all pro safety.

Everybody was pro Jackson, he's an Alabama stud who had a freak injury and slipped a few rounds.

This isn’t true. People were bitching about this pick when it was made. I was one of the few on board with it along with only a couple others. And I don’t think Dolphin and Dr Ken were both on board with it either. I can’t remember for sure tho, but one of them wasn’t.

Here is the thread of the picks that year

Those threads are usually pretty fun reads in hindsite.

I liked the Floyd pick when it was made for what it’s worth.. and that’s not looking like a top-10 guy. Is what it is

I only remember the 4th round thread that year because I was arguing with (America I think) that Jackson shouldn’t be overlooked just because he was surrounded by talent on Alabama because, well, everyone on Alabama is surrounded by that talent.. or something along those lines.

I look at it this way -I’m happy to be wrong if players turn out to be better than I thought they were going to be. We all should feel good about that.

I think I was just tired of the Bears drafting injured guys.

For Cohen, I never like small backs but that was for a Fox offense so I didn't see the point. I'm very much in favor of him being in this offense.

I guess I was thinking of the Amos pick that dolphin and I were on board with. And I do still think that was a pretty good pick for where they got him.

Was anyone crazy about the Cohen pick tho? There may have been a couple of us that didn’t hate it but I don’t think anyone thought he was going to turn out being this good.

Agreed -- he dragged Cohen over the first down line singlehandedly... he had a great game.

Fuck. I hope that isn’t accurate. This offense looked limited with Daniel out there although he played well imo.

Maybe we were all still suffering from short guy fatigue. I recall one a few years back, maybe a 3-rounder from NIU, that did not turn out as good as Cohen has?

Wolfe, he was projected by everyone to go undrafred, few had him in the last round.. Nobody had him in the 3rd round. Horrible pick

I am reluctant to complain about style points in a road win, especially in Detroit on Thanksgiving, but there were some troubling items defensively in this game, in the last two games and in the second halves all year.

The Lions and Vikings had to alter their offenses to successfully eliminate the pass rush. The Rams and Saints play at that speed all the time.

I hated the one player celebrations, particularly when they added props to it. But these team things are fun to watch for me. Watched the Vikes/Packers game and the Vikes did the limbo after a running back scored. It was creative and well done.
