They are highly ranked vs. the run, but the defense hasn't been able to stop running games that stick to it. We've seen cracks vs. Miami, Detroit and again today vs. NYG.

Outside of the Dolphins game this happens when they're forced to stay on the field because the offense isn't playing well.

THe defense cannot be blamed for that loss. Turnovers and shitty performance by Daniels was responsible for that loss. ALso, the Giants pretty much got every break in that game. SOmetimes teams just lose a game they should have won. This was a prime example of that.

Exactly. The bad news is that I think that Fangio is going to be pretty much at the top of the list for team's looking for new head coach. I certainly would look into him as my head coach for what he has managed to do. Whether he wants to take a head coaching job is another question. I want Pace to make it tough for him to leave by giving him a big time bump in salary and title. He deserves it.

Fangio has interviewed for head coaching jobs many times and never been hired. I don't think he has the personality for a head coach. In addition, the trend is to hire young and offensive minded. That won't change after Mc Vay and Nagy are all over the tv screens during the playoffs. I have zero fear Fangio will leave.
