I said it earlier this year: Fangio is similar to Lovie in that he is great at getting his players prepared to play during the week but isn’t much help during the game. He relies on the talent coming thru and playing well rather than scheming in-game.

I was on the discord earlier and this was my exact statement. He gets exposed as a rookie when he has to drop into coverage. Maybe that's something he can learn; I don't know. Good run stopper and generally the other guys around him keep this from being a major issue, but there were a couple key plays today that were solely on him not covering correctly.

He’s still relying on his athleticism. It was enough in college but this is the NFL where everyone on the field is the best player you went against in college.
