The Rams have already clinched the playoffs, and only need wins against the Cardinals and 49ers to make sure they have the 2nd seed locked up and even with a loss they would still be tied with the Saints for the 1 seed.

The Bears would only have a 1 game lead on 7th place and possibly only a half game lead in the division. The Bears have significantly more to play for.

Hopefully it is one of those games where a team from a warmer climate walks into a game in the 20s and doesn't put up a great effort.

They are going to focus on stopping Gurley and make Goff make throws, hopefully the wind is swirling. Nagy has been focused on this game since the Vikings, looking past smaller opponents. I think it's going to be a preview of the NFC Championship game.

They kicked the Rams ass despite the Rams having 2 weeks to prepare. They'll be ready for the Rams. Mitch has to step up and accept the challenge against Goff

Where did I say that would decide the outcome? My point is simply that the Bears have a lot more riding on this game than the Rams do and it could be a factor.

I think its funny that we are saying a team that got embarrassed by the fucking Giants and Eli Manning is going to somehow beat the Rams because the Rams clinched the playoffs already and its cold outside. Good one, guys.

between the two losses, i'd take the bears loss to the giants any day.

america's just trolling himself, trying to naysay so he can have the "loser's win" mentality that if they lose, he expected it. kind of like quitting drinking.

I don't see the Bears keeping it within two touchdowns...not that I won't root for them to win.

Mitch is the unknown. I don't expect the defense to suck but with a rusty (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky and a healthy Aqib Talib he could have an awful game. He has to rise to the challenge.

If the Broncos had anything close to (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky at QB, they would have beaten the Rams in Denver earlier this season.

I wouldn't say embarrassed, we had a backup an on the road who threw 2 picks( one a pick 6) loss in OT

Not a must win at all. Vikes will lose to Seattle.

This is the most balanced post.

Bears will treat the Rams exactly like they did the indoor playing Vikings.

Problem is that the Rams are more talented and better at every position than either other team except maybe Mack, and given his play over the last month, even there.

Not hardly. The Bear's defense is better than the Rams defense and if (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky is healthy the Bear's offense will score at least 27 points in this game.

A month ago I would have agreed with you. But imo Mack isn't right and it's been showing in second halves. Plus I think that teams are slowly catching up to the Bears gadget filled playbook.

Mack shows up for primetime games. The Rams defense has given up over 30 points to every good team they've played this season. The Lions just gave them trouble and they were coming off of a bye.

It's Mitch, but it's also Nagy. Will Nagy take some pressure off Mitch and game plan some more Jordan Howard?

Not only does that help relieve the pressure on Mitch, it relieves the pressure on the defense by burning clock and keeping the Rams O off the field.

Bears fans and the media's obsession with Howard is something that I will never understand. Howard has added pressure to Nagy and (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky because he has mostly sucked running the ball.

I don't think Howard had much of a shot. The plays he got almost seemed like throw away plays. There's no way he all of a sudden sucks that bad. The scheme sucked.

Then when he does start getting it rolling, they go away from him.

We're watching the same games, it's Howard. He's slow and his vision sucks. You can't even count on him to get 1 yard despite his size. The offense is toast if they lean on Howard. The offense is almost always in 3rd and long or 2nd and long when they lean on him.

Because from birth Bears fans are taught to believe in running the football, stopping the run and Bear weather.

RIP Doug Buffone.

Or it could be that he rushed for 2400 yds combined in his first two years in an extremely pass happy league.

He was certainly good against the Giants. 68 yards on 13 carries in the first half, but only 3 carries in the second half. WTF? That's bad playcalling.

Sean Payton has Ingram and Kamara co-existing and thriving. I don't understand why Nagy is marginalizing a Pro-Bowl RB.
