He came on after Ranger's Post-game show, and he says he'll be on til people stop calling. Like a caller just said, very cool of him to be doing this on late notice, EVEN IF Mitch or someone collared him into doing it.

he explained early on that he txt'd mitch when it was clear that the bulls were getting the #1 pick and said something to the effect of "this is a time where i wish i could be on air" and mitch offered it to him.

that's a loose quote, too, it was something more concise than my paraphrasing. point being, he asked to do it and mitch went with it. no "rotation" or whatever.
