Only way Rams score 38 is if Gurley goes off for 4 or 5 TDs. Can't see Goff, a kid that's born, raised, and played a majority of games on West Coast coming in on a cold night and doing much.

Bears 21

Rams 17

I was wrong on the score but right on Goff.

Have anything to actually say, or are emojis the extent of your ability to explain yourself here? Mitch was playing well before missing these last 2 games, it’s not a stretch to point out rust/being out of sync with the offense (riddum) as being the issue with him. It’s not like the Rams defense was all over him last night, his INT’s were mostly tossed right to their DB’s rather than them making plays so.. got anything else..?

He missed high against the Vikings too (before he hurt his shoulder).

Didn’t look as bad with it against the Vikings as last night tho -the Vikings were also doing a lot on defense against Mitch too. The Rams didn’t play well yesterday on either side of the ball imo. Their takeaways were more a product of terrible decisions/throws by Mitch than the defense making plays, tho theres an element of the ladder in there. Goff looked like shit too, but the Bears were also giving that offense fits defensively in a way the Rams weren’t giving the Bear offense with their defense, if that makes sense.

They talk too much. Never seen a team 16-1 talk so much.

In fairness, Robey-Coleman and the Rams punter were the only ones on their team who had good games last night.

I assume that is the last time we will see Nagy rely on Parkey in a questionable situation again. Personally, I didn't like the field goal attempt call anyway. It is 4th and 4. Get a first down and you close out the game. Kick a field goal and it only alters the situation in your favor slightly. I was really surprised Nagy didn't see it that way as well.

One other very small disagreement, I don't like calling the victory formation plays when you know you cannot run out the clock. Run the ball a couple of times to try to get the first down and be 100% certain the game is secured.

Mitch absolutely sucked and a FG there forces the Rams to score 2 touchdowns instead of a touchdown and a FG.

The punting on 4th and less than a yard at/near midfield was worse than the FG or kneeling to take the clock down to 30 some seconds.

Yeah if you were going to go for it if the official wasn't knocked down then you still should have gone for it.

I think in those situations the decision to go for it almost has to made on 3rd down when its 3rd and short like that. You really have to have the attitude like fuck it, if we cant get 2 yards on 2 running plays we don't deserve it anyway.

but howard did not and while mitch sucked, Bear receivers were open all day

as I said, the FG, if made, slightly improved their situation

That was crazy. I was legitimately stunned Nagy did that but I guess it worked out and it's hard to argue with the reasoning.

They called it a partially dislocated shoulder. From everything I read online that is a 6 week injury.

Anthony Miller is also playing with the injury and I think it is showing in his production. Let's wrap things up and get our guys rested.

The Bears only won because of cold weather according to ESPN: http://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/2550 ... l-32-teams

Bears 6 in Power Rankings.

Well as long as he only tossed them right to the defenders I guess Rex Trubissky will be fine.

This is a bad area you've carved out. He's not Aaron Rodgers but he's not Grossman either.

Incidentally, I watched this very long highlight video from the 2006 NFC Championship. Man things have changed. The passing is just so difficult for both Grossman and Brees. Grossman though....just horrible.

He's Blake Bortles. I wouldn't insult Rex by comparing the two.

He's a middle of the pack QB. That's right where you want him to be. Hopefully he's not still injured and can shake off the rust before the playoffs.
