Ickey did it on his own sideline but they most certainly did with The Fun Bunch. When TO tried to do a decade or so later, he also got a "what for" from defenders. In fact, I think it was cowboys in both cases.

These celebrations suck. Anyone on the teams with an iota of pride is obviously embarrassed by them. And I'm not against the idea of celebrating - these just come off as weird. Gimme Barry Sanders - hand the ball to the ref and move on like you've done it before.

In fairness to older sports fans I hated the bat flips and other forms of celebrations that were brought into baseball.

If I remember correctly, most of the time, Walter Payton would do the same as Sanders.

However, I seem to remember Walter often giving the ball to members of the O-Line for the touchdown spike.
