You could say the same about LTG's posts.

Soon there will be cranky old Bear fans in the end zone seats screaming; "Darn kids! Get off my lawn!!!"

I find it interesting that these same Millennials who are supposedly so acutely aware of the feelings of others and so fucking sensitive can't understand that these celebrations are not simply "fun", they're fun at someone else's expense.

Old man yells at clouds. The only people who have historically complained about celebrations are older football fans.

I don't even watch the NFL. I couldn't give a fuck if they all stand on their heads. I'm just pointing out how phony the young man's bullshit is. Now stop trying to be the "fun police" when someone tells a joke.

They were complaining 30 years ago about Ickey Woods. The "Act like you been there before" talk is just old people who hate fun or like to complain about young people.

No doubt. But that's not what we're talking about. Don't pretend you're a nicer guy than I am when you want to rub some guy's nose in his own defeat. That's all I ask.

Nas is trying to take us back to 1956. Maybe he wants Darvish to start throwing at people's heads too.

Are you that loyal to the game of baseball? Is this a kneeling or Kaepernick protest? IIRC when I first met you we argued about quarterbacks. I naturally loved Elway and you hated him.

I wouldn't have an issue with that. There was something about sports that required a little toughness when I was a kid.

I wouldn't say I hate Elway. I just think for most of his career he was a passer rather than what I call a quarterback. There's more to running a team than just having a superior arm.

Ickey did it on his own sideline but they most certainly did with The Fun Bunch. When TO tried to do a decade or so later, he also got a "what for" from defenders. In fact, I think it was cowboys in both cases.

These celebrations suck. Anyone on the teams with an iota of pride is obviously embarrassed by them. And I'm not against the idea of celebrating - these just come off as weird. Gimme Barry Sanders - hand the ball to the ref and move on like you've done it before.

TO was being disrespectful. Celebrating in the endzone and dancing on their star at midfield is different.

In fairness to older sports fans I hated the bat flips and other forms of celebrations that were brought into baseball.

MANY disagree and players across the league see them as a way to have fun.

The NFL sucks because it is the No Fun League and because there are too many penalties!
Why doesn't the NFL penalize people for celebrating after a touchdown?

I enjoy it as well when it is my team. That is not the point. The point is, when you celebrate, don't be shocked if an opponent decleats you

As an example. I would have loved for the Bears to have shown some fight against the Eagle ridiculousness last year.

You seem to have set yourself up as the arbiter of what is fun and what is disrespect. You know that isn't workable.

If I remember correctly, most of the time, Walter Payton would do the same as Sanders.

However, I seem to remember Walter often giving the ball to members of the O-Line for the touchdown spike.

That's certainly their right, as is it mine to think they suck. I even find them cringe-worthy. They come off as trying too hard. End zone celebrations are the Jimmy Fallon of the NFL.

Agree with dolphin.

I enjoy the Bears celebrations but if someone does it to Us I want Hicks to pick them up by their feet and swing them into the goalpost.

Hopefully he widens it enough for Parkey to make more kicks.

I thought it was a lot of fucking fun when Juice Williams danced on the block "O". I'm guessing Ohio State players, coaches, and fans disagreed.

It's always fun when athletes disrespect the home fans during away games. Baker planting that OK flag at OSU's place was great. Anyone who thinks otherwise is just being a tight assed bitch.
