5 is generous. It’s a very long time for a defense to be consistently great. It’s even more of a leap when they’re so reliant on one player to make everything work.

5 years of anything is way generous in today's NFL. Ask the Eagles. FF has a warped reality due to his team's recent historic run.

Everybody on the Bears is young and under contract.

Which is part of what makes the Bears defense so great. There are MANY players on the Bears D making plays all day long.

A lot of their grades are wildly off. They think Chris Carson is a top 4 RB in the NFL this year. I like Blake Martinez but they think he's one of the best ILBs in the NFL and that's ridiculous.

We can even look at the photo you posted. David Bakhtiari has been the very best OT in football this year, Rodgers has been pretty bad, and they think Rodgers is objectively playing his position better than Bakhtiari is his. That's just a ridiculous assertion, and keep in mind these grades do not give special weight to the QB position.

There are just dozens and dozens of examples like this. They are a subjective, easily digestible ratings system, so people just take their grades as objective truth when that's clearly not the case.
