McMahon, was reckless...leading to many injuries. But not on that day. He had just come back from missing 4 games due to a shoulder. He was ready to be healthy for the playoff run. That play by Martin, encouraged by Forrest Gregg, was heartbreaking and infuriating.

As much as Hampton disliked him, he knows McMahon was the straw that stirred the drink. The Bears offense was barely mediocre without him. Our receiving corp was not good.

McMahon coming up today, with all the protections and the slide rule drilled into his head, would easily be a top 10 and probably a top 5 qb...definitely better than Mitch.
