When I say a burrito bowl, I mean more than just some mexican style ingredients in a bowl.

If I go into a taqueria and ask for two different meats in a taco or burrito, you get a weird look and something about how they don't know how to price it. If I want 3 different salsas, another problem. Fajita veggies, beans AND rice in a burrito? All of this is super simple at Chipotle and I'm in and out in 2 minutes. And it tastes GOOD. And the ingredients are all higher quality than what you're going to find at a $2 taco joint.

The problem with that is that your terms could include TBK or even Taco Bell and those are definitely not taquerias.

I do take issue with someone using the term "bodega" to refer to a corner store in Chicago. It's definitely a New York term.

Taquerias give you shit when you order 3 tacos...one al pastor, one steak and one chicken. They're "put out" when they have to cook small orders of each ingredient. Without fail, and I've asked for it at quite a few (I like variety).

There are plenty of times I want tacos with cilantro and onion. I'm not going to Chipotle for that. I'm not going to Chipotle for a delicious skirt steak and black beans. I'm not going for any fajitas or mole. I go to Chipotle for Chipotle, and Chipotle hits the spot.

Some of you disagree. You will not be surprised in the least to find out that I think I know better than you and therefore I don't give a shit.

Yesterday, you told us that the better and higher quality ingredients come from Chipotle. Seems to me the better and more quality ingredients are the ones that are prepared fresh on the spot, rather than scooped out of a metal pan that has been sitting on a steam table for a few hours.
