(Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky was better against the zone. That's encouraging.

Mitch made a shit load of clutch passes when they needed them and used his feet when necessary. The Bear's had a fumble problem in this game or it wouldn't have been close.

No need to lash out your frustrations on the Packers. Packers have nothing to do with the Bears offense going backwards and getting worse by the week.

Then why are you getting into Bears business? Perhaps we have already clinched the 3 seed and we aren't showing teams any new tape for the playoffs? Makes sense doesn't it?

Frank pleasantly reminded me that GB is somehow not last place in what is probably the worst season as a fan of our lifetimes. Bears finished last place the last four years in a row. It’s not terrible to concede the limelight for a single year to them while we regroup with Fangio or Arians as our head coach next year.

I’m unfamiliar with Bears business, hence my question asking why the offense is regressing. Answer makes sense. The Bears and future opponents definitely don’t need to bother with past few weeks of tape. Woof.

My point is why show anything new when it doesn't matter? The Rams are a top tier defense and what did the offense do to regress today? They did enough to win, really Robinson made a bone-head play but they ran the ball fine, (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky played fine - you really don't need anything special to beat the 49ers.

Very enjoyable game yesterday.

San Francisco is a quarterback away from being a good team. Their kicker doesn't miss much.

Congrats on being slightly better than the Lions

You're the one who is frustrated by the fact that the Packers have fallen and can't get up.

That's great, but how many passes went over 20 yards downfield? Most were under 10 yards. I think Nagy has recognized Mitch's problem with accuracy downfield and is drawing up a game plan each week now, that avoids longer passes. Defenses are going to pack it in before long and force them to alter their plan. Trubiski is really good with the shorter passes. Very accurate. But not so much on the longer routes.

He completed both long passes for over 20 yards yesterday.

I'll take an under control qb, going 25 for 30 for 250-300yds every week. I don't care if he doesn't throw the ball over 10-15yds ever.

The short passes were, for the most part, working against the 49ers. If it aint broke, don't fix it.

Almost all of this is wrong.

The Niners played a lot of zone in the second half. His short to intermediate passes were the only ones that were there. He made the right decisions, for the most part. Turnovers really hurt them yesterday. (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky played good enough... and more importantly, good enough to win. More and more, I think we value the wrong things at QB. It is difficult to quantify, but a QB does have to have a bit of "game manager" (even though we mock the term) in them to win consistently. Putting up 450 yards and a couple TD's don't mean shit if you are always losing. (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky seems to have enough of that "game manager" in him, but he can also beat you himself if needed. That response TD against GB last week was a great sign.

Need to lodge a formal complaint with the league about that field. I thought we lost a couple of starters yesterday due to that cruddy surface
