Bears aren't losing in the first round to any of these teams. Even if its the Vikings.

Every team believes they won't lose...until they do.

So we should believe they will lose?

if it's vikings round 1 then yes.

Why? What aspect of the Vikings is so scary?

Of course the Packers fan says the Bears will lose in round one of the playoffs.

The interior of the Rams OL is horrible.

The interior of the 49ers DL is excellent.

Jared Goff gets happy feet from inside pressure.

Todd Gurley may not play.

Really not going out on a limb here for anyone who follows the NFL even a smidge.

Sounds reasonable to me. Goff has been one of the worst QB's in the NFL over the past 4 or 5 weeks. This has largely been ignored.

Gurley is out for the Rams. There is a legitimate chance they lose.

Bears have to treat this like a playoff game, except for injured players Jackson.

The week off is huge. Home field against the Rams in the second round would be even hugerer.

The healthy 49ers receivers are slightly better than you and I. Their defense would have to win that game

95% chance Rams win minus Gurley

Goff is no (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky and will not get away easily from the 9ers defensive group. And with Gurley gone this should be a low scoring game. Maybe Mr. Robbie Gould does his old team a solid and kicks the Bears into a bye week?

I can definitely see it going this way.

Worst-case scenario would seem to be the Rams, Bears, and Redskins winning, i.e., the standings stay as they are. A Bears loss in which they pull the plug and show nothing wouldn't even be so bad if the other matters are settled. Maybe it's just memories of 2010, but I don't feel good about one team having to go 3-for-3 against another in one year. That can't happen all that often. Knocking the Vikings out of the playoffs would be a huge feather in the Bears' cap, whether it gets them the bye or not.

Teams playing a 3rd time in a season isn't uncommon, but I'd be curious on what the records are in those scenario's and how often a 3rd meeting is in a B2B weeks.

He'll start, and rotate (is my guess). I'd be surprised if he's playing in the 4th quarter if the Rams game is already decided (as I would be for many of the other starters).
