It’s been nice not worrying about draft position this year or starting looking at possibilities in the draft by October. I know the bear don’t have a pick until round three so with that in mind throw down here if you see someone

Watching the fcs semis I’m falling in love with SDSU qb taryn Christiansen. I don’t know about his draft projection but he has a huge arm and is incredibly mobile. You can never have enough qb for the bears

Solid thread. I’ll reserve a spot now and report back with findings.

Need some injuries or people to get caught with marijuana so they can slide to the 3rd. IF Howard can finish the season strong you may be able to get something for him.

THey should take the best offensive lineman out there with their highest pick. Don't know what free agents are going to be out there but getting a quality tall wide receiver would also be good.

I think they will need a nickle back, which should be available when they pick in the third.

Donnie Lewis, Jr, CB Tulane- a CB with good size at 6, 195, who has the ability to blitz and seems to love to tackle.

Isaiah Simmons out of Clemson.

I want him. I'd like him on the Bears also.

Chase McLaughlin from Illinois.

This is a legit suggestion. The guy is great.

I don't know if he'll get drafted but he will be in the league.

Sounds good to me.

They should bring in every UFA kicker they can.

It's sad to see a college kid chip-shotting 30-yard FGs when our million dollar pro kicker can't make an XP.

Parkey makes an XP look like a 55-yard attempt. It's like the ball is in the air long enough to make right and left turns.

Nagy swears it wasn't his fault.

a guy to watch tonight if you are so inclined is Finley from NCST. I think he is the type of player who would excel in Nagy's system. He is highly accurate and doesn't throw picks. I also have seen him projected as a third rounder.

We might also be able to buy low on a guy like Clayton Thorson. He had an inconsistent year coming back from an ACL. He didn't protect the ball well enough with 14 INT but I think he felt the need to throw rather than run in some situations because of his knee. He had a high draft grade coming into the year but he has to have slipped into at least the third day.

I guess this probably isn't the year for a young backup. You get one more year of Daniel. After that Mitch will be going into year 4 and you can start thinking about a rookie as his backup and possible replacement down the line.

with the limited picks and the late drafting, Pace needs to be surgical in his drafting. This is a needs draft.

The most glaring need this season is RT. Massie is a FA who I am ready to move on from. There were no obvious in house replacements.

You can find a good RT in round 3. I don't know if you can find someone who is a Day 1 starter.

Find me one.

How about Prince Tega Wahnogo from Auburn. I know nothing about him but we would lead the league in Prince's on the team. Wakanda Forever!

Sounds like the offspring of Queen Hottsie Tottsie and King Rootin Tootin.

I'd have to see about price and length of contract to carry on with him.

Amos and Callahan are the other big FA

I don't think either of them are absolute must haves and I think both are going to get crazy offers on the open market.

You can get a starting nickle (I've pointed out two already) and a starting SS with middle round picks.

I love Callahan but his availability has been an issue.

If Amos can get a big contract, good for him. I don't think I'd do it.

Nope. I think Eddie Jackson will make some pedestrian safeties look good.

Callahan is just to fragile to match any big offers.

6'5" / 310 former QB that grew into a TE and then an OL. Good athleticism and lean for the weight.

Another option would be to take a Guard and move Long to RT.

Parris Campbell doesn't have the best hands, but he would be a great fit in Nagy's offense.

I've been a BIGFAN since I saw him play as a sophomore.

I saw that press conference when he said that. I will say that in a couple of previous misses that the timing of the thing was messed up. I think that some of the problem is with the long snapper.

5th/6th round guy - Lil'Jordan Humphrey - WR out of Texas. Doesn't have the speed to be a take the top off guy, but really good hands and can take a hit.

Hitting five off the uprights and missing 7 field goals doesn't really give that much validation.
